Question⊠does everyone have a Wisconsin email address? My son does through doodle. I know tomorrow is the big day and Iâm just looking for some hints of good news lol
Can you share link to this?
Yes. I believe we determined that everyone has that. Theyâre not active accounts yet though.
Thanks, that is what I thought ![]()
What is doodle?
Apparently the id each applicant receives gives you some limited access into the UW system. This includes Doodle (an app for scheduling meetings with people) and the ability to log into the library system (but not check things out).
The only tell Iâve consistently heard, and it may have been fixed, is on the afternoon of release day (probably this Friday) some people can log into new student housing and receive a âHi, [insert applicant name]â. Others receive an error message. Until that time a few hours before release, everyone who logs into new student housing receives an error message.
SOAR access was another tell, but that might have been fixed last year?
Where is new student housing? I can log into doodle but itâs with my applicant info
And where is Soar registration?
SOAR

Housing
This is all speculation based on past years, so please take it with a grain of salt.
Thereâs a lot of BS on Reddit rn with the college stuff. I would take it all w a grain of salt.
The UT stuff has been crazy.
Has anyone found the breakdown of enrollment per state? Some college admissions give a map showing how every state is represented, etc. with a percentage. Just thought it would be interesting based on all the published info about OOS with UWisc admissions.
Go to this link, scroll down to âUW-Madison Enrollment Reportâ and select the arrow to the left of âHome address mapâ. You may need to change the menu on the left to âUS State/Territoryâ:
P.S. at the top of the map, there are other tabs. The one labeled âHigh Schoolâ will show how many students were enrolled from your high school over the past few years.
This enrollment data is awesome. Is this unique to UW-Madison, or is this kind of granular data common? I havenât run across it for any other school.
Itâs very common, but the trick is finding it. However, enrollment by high school is rare. Typically the best places to look are the universityâs Office of Institutional Research or their Office of the Registrar. A good key phrase to search for is âfact bookâ
The Registrar is one of the most under-the-radar power positions on a college campus. They control all class registrations (including rooms and buildings); they determine residency for tuition; they monitor grades, progress toward degree, and academic probation; and they generate diplomas and transcripts. As a result, they control almost all student data related to academics.
This is some fun data - thank youâŠ
Clicked on Student E-forms tile. Spins forever before opening.
Same.
Maybe they are loading all our accepted student forms in! ![]()
