Anyone have any activity or changes in portal. I also thought today originally but I would think the portal would shut down for a while of they were uploading decisions right?

Except for the actual crash last year, i didnā€™t notice comments about portal shutdown. People were astrologizing to the bitter end.

My guess is that the opening salvo will be one day this week at 7p central, then waves of updates, thereafter.

Or it could also imply: we usually release decision over a weekend, and itā€™s not this weekend.

If they donā€™t have a precedent of releasing on a Friday like UMich and UIUC, then yeah, it could really be any day this week.

Friday, last 2 years at least. But, fridayā€™s pre-announcement - unprecedented in last couple years - potentially changes things, especially with specific wording.

Iā€™d give today a higher probability than any individual day this week.

How did you even come across that? Iā€™m curious how you even thought about going to check there. Either everyone posting in this chat has been admitted hence they already have Wisconsin email addresses and can select and add course to their names or the portal indiscriminately populates this data for all applicants. The latter one doesnā€™t make much sense while the former one is unlikely too. I think itā€™s the latter though.

It is in the list of apps when you browse apps. UW-Madison doodle. But this is not a tell. We discovered it a while ago.
