Similar acceptances here, also deferred ED to Northwestern (but for engineering).
Exactly. Never got email notification from either Wisconsin nor Northeastern. Thanks to being on college confidential we knew right away!
I checked again. Now itâs 92, but a few hours ago it was 91.
Thatâs right. Access to some apps like housing portal, canvas may take some time, even if itâs showing up on the home page.
Donât dare challenge the portal astrology outcomes⊠just kidding, many congratulations!
That was my daughterâs major too. We were deferred - mind me asking stats? Do you know if that particular major is more or less competitive compared to others?
Got it. So it should say â92 entries are available to youâ?
OOS denied. 3.9 UW 4.44 W and 7 IB courses senior year. Amazing extracurriculars: Newspaper head editor, dance team captain, president and founder of entrepreneurship program at high school, hip hop team captain, much others too. Very upset.
Honestly it doesnât matter, if youâre already accepted.
It was more used as an indicator.
But yes, if you click on + button at the bottom of your home page, you should see a list with 92 apps.
No cause of concern if itâs 91, as I said, it doesnât really matter now.
Thatâs crazy. Which school/major?
If I may ask, how would you rate your essays? Both common app and Why WisconsinâŠ
Just trying to gauge what could have caused such an unexpected decision.
My daugther rejected from Northwestern and deferred from Babson College and USC. No rejections from public universities which seems to be more straight forward and still waiting for UCs, UIUC, UNC, U washington.
Hi, OOS deferred here. Madison is still my #1 dream school, but I am not seeing where or how to submit my SRAR to them. In my portal, thereâs nothing in the âTo-Doâ section and the independent SRAR portal itself doesnât list the school in the dropdown as one requiring SR grades. Iâm confused, does anyone know what to do next? Congrats to everyone who was admitted!!
we had 91 and canvas didnât work. I thought we were âcookedâ as my daughter would say.
Our S25 was Accepted, Engineering Mechanics (intended Aerospace option)!
I canât find anything about admitted student tours in the tour options.
Anyone know where to find it?
Thanks to everybody on this forum.
Congrats to all who got in and for those who did not, no worries, eventually you will land at a college you love
does this exist for most other schools? is there a place to see the 2024 results?
we looked as well. I figure that an email will come out in the next few days with more details and a link
Daughter admitted! Beyond thrilled as this is my alma mater. No decisions have been made yet but it is nice to have options. To anyone deferred or denied, trust the process! My first born was waitlisted at UW and ended up choosing another school and it was the best decision! He is so happy and it is the perfect fit. While heartache is part of the process, so is pivoting and adjusting. It all works out in the end!
Yay! OOS Daughter admitted to School of Ag & Life Sciences. After deferrals to UGA, Clemson, UF and Michigan, so excited she got an acceptance for a school sheâs excited about!
Itâs a new thing for this site this year! The first form was for UMich a couple days ago
