University Scholarship as a dual enrollment student

I recently received my financial package from the university of Delaware. One of the requirements for the money is to be a full time student and take 12 credits. However, I did dual enrollment and I’m in the middle of a class. After it’s over I’ll have 6 credits. How will this effect my scholarship money?

You must take 12 credits to get the scholarship. If you are dual enrolled, in high school, you’d not get the scholarship.

If you are asking what 6 credits earned in HS may do to your scholarship for your upcoming freshman year in college, nothing. It will be waiting for you in the fall when you need to make sure you take 12 hours to qualify.

The 12 credit requirement means that you must be actively enrolled in at least 12 credits in each semester in order to get the scholarship. Being in a class now should not have any effect on your future scholarship.
