Romani- H and I still marvel at how we foolishly decided to travel the 100+ miles home one Wisconsin winter Saturday. There are reasons we become more cautious as we age- experience is a great teacher. We have been lucky over the decades to see other cars in the ditch when we have been on winter highways and not end up there ourselves.
Florida vacationers are reveling in our 10+ degrees above normal mid 80’s temps (with humidity) while those of us here year round are tired of the heat and humidity. We’re supposed to get a break from it- winters make up for summers. Next year. Literally. A cold front moves in Friday. My WI sister shoveled out 10 or more inches of snow and happily will go snowshoeing- she loves winter. I had enough.
