to add onto this i think it is historically on a Thursday around 5-6 pm EST. So I would look out for Thursdays

Somebody said they got off the waitlist yesterday at 8pm, not sure if I believe it but there’s that.

Yeah they said they got an email saying they’re was a status update in their portal at 8pm est. Idk if its true, but thats what the person said. I’m skeptical bc I haven’t heard any news from anyone else and there is no activity regarding penn waitlist acceptances like there is for vanderbilt or other ivies
i have never seen penn send waitlist acceptance at 8pm before doesn’t really make sense
I’ve seen like 3-4 people claim on discord and reddit that they’ve been admitted off the waitlist around 8PM too

They didn’t send that last year tho… Honestly I think they really nailed the yield prediction of this year given how small this first wave is… Maybe there’s only a few spots left…?
maybe but these past few years, they’ve accepted 100 people off… let’s hope

do you know how long of an interval it is ? like if they released yesterday… how long until the next set of offers
Im going to hold out w hope until May 16 (next thursday, bc apparently they send them out on thursdays tho this new news of ppl getting off yesterday kind of blurs this). After that, they might send them out by the last Thursday of May. So, I’d say a week till the next, but might be two.
