So my parents submitted financial aid forms on the 7th but I’ll be penalized? That really makes a lot of sense. Also the ED deadline was the first but the PFAS became available a few days later. Therefore the deadline wasn’t actually the first is what you’re saying. @connections

Whoever came up with this dumb financial aid thing please stop. Financial aid is completely independent of your decision. Applications for aid submitted after the 1st are processed as soon as possible. Don’t listen to everything these clowns say and get stressed out. “Me not getting the financial aid email was foreshadowing of my rejection.” No, but definitely use that to justify it to yourself. I’m legitimately angry about people stressing out others two days before decisions.
@BigJah yeah I’ve already said like 10 times that financial aid has no effect on adcomm decisions idk why people are still stressing on it. Decisions come out in 2 days, everything is out of our control so all we can really do is wait
do you guys know what happens if you’re accepted but your financial aid is delayed for some reason? do you still have to withdraw all your other applications or can you wait until the financial aid office does an offer?
Your package will be processed ASAP so you can wait a few days
They disclose your aid with your acceptance so nobody truly knows if their FA is delayed
