Just how generous are these schools to internationals? I’m hoping to get around 95% of aid. Should i even apply?

No problem, maybe duke is a problem

i don’t know about the other schools, but for Penn, check out the following link

Hope that helps

I applied to both Penn and Lafayette, both offer need-based aid to international student and guarantee to meet 100% of your need. I just got accepted ED to Penn but I’m still waiting for my fin aid package, so I can let you know later how it went :)

Check this out:

Thanks for all your help!

lipgloss: congratulations!

Penn doesn’t offer aid to many internationals, but if you get aid it should be a decent package. The nice thing is that they’re limited in the amount of loans they can give you (international students are just too much of a risk for banks, I guess) so you should get lots of grant money.

They were pretty good to me anyway.

I got into Lafayette class of 2009. I received $3,500 loan, $2,600 work-study and $34,500 grant, so my family contribution was $500 every year. But have to pay an extra $1,500 insurance fee if enrolled.

Williamzhang, u r in Dartmouth, right?

Yes.

Duke is pretty good with merit scholarships or so I believe. Quite a few guys got in from India last year (with aid/schol).

Saatvik dude…forgot me?
