UPenn Leadership Institute- questions, advice?

Hey fellow CCers,

I was invited to the 8th Annual Middle School Leadership Institute held by the Delaware Valley Consortium for Excellence and Equality and the Penn Graduate School of Education, which will be at the Penn campus. It’s basically a leadership seminar day for minority middle school students. The institute will be held this Friday, and I get to miss school, (yay :D)! I was wondering if anyone has ever been to this or knows about it. There are 6 seminars from which I get to choose 2. I was also wondering if you guys could advise me about which one I should go to, because I’m really stuck; they all sound great!

1) Finding Your Strength (Presenter: Athlete and Youth Motivational Speaker from SLC, Utah)*

2) Bullies, Parents, and Teachers- OMG: How to Find My Own Voice (Director of Graduate Studies @ Lincoln University)

3) TBA (<– I actually might pick this one because of the mystery involved, haha, I like surprises.)*

4) Code Switch for Justice… Keeping it Real May Cost You (Presenters: Trainer/Educational Consultant, and Chief Public Defender)

5) Change Your Song, Change Your Life! (Presenter: President of SuccessConnect, Phila.)*

6) Lessons We Have Learned: Finding and Making Time for Success (held by HS students)*

*= thinking about

Thanks in advance for all replies :)
