i got my housing, did you guys get it as well? where is everyone living

nice! where did you get?? i didn’t get mine yet :(. when did you apply for it??

I spoke with my advisor today and got some transfer credits approved already, as well… no housing assignment as of yet

hey alu did u submit the xcat things already?

i got housing! um… harrison! =D

hey unsaid, when did you apply?? im just trying to get an idea of when i’ll find out based on when i applied…and congrats on harrison!

um… we got our decisions on thursday right? i applied for housing on sunday.

haha thanks! rodin was my first choice though. i got a harrison quad apartment. what did you apply for?

ughhh i applied almost 3 weeks later so it will probably take awhile!
i’m really nervous i really want to get into the high rises

thats awesome though! aren’t they all almost the same? what made you want rodin over harrison?? i picked the health and fitness community at harrison and then the leadership one at rodin, and then i just did a bunch of rooms at all three of the high rises. if i get into a room in the high rises with a kitchen ill be happy :)

I really want to get into Harrison too, but I applied so late (like literally a few days ago), I’d be lucky to get housing at all.

Quick question to those who got there housing results: how did you log in to CampusExpress?? Did you guys get your PennKeys already???!!!

i dunno why I like rodin more it was more or less random really. hahaha

i didn’t pick any residential programs though

hmmm yeah i got my pennkey, but i was notified through email. my campusexpress isn’t updated yet.

Hey does anyone know how our dining plan is gonna work? I was trying to register for a dining plan, but it seems that we can only choose from the 4 most expensive ones…
I know freshman are required to choose from one of those but are transfers required to do that too?

unsaidcrap – yeah, I’ve submitted all my courses to XCAT and have gotten 3 replies/evaluations already.

Unsaidcrap, can you tell me around when you recieved your PennKey?? I’m an international, and I know things arrive a bit late, but the only thing that I’ve actually recieved from Penn so far is my initial acceptance package :S

Paperrev, I got my PennKey in an e-mail on May 25th. Perhaps you should contact undergrad admissions and have them send it out.

As far as meal plans go, I’ve heard that the Liberty Plan is the best one. Any thoughts? I might sign up today, as well.

@xiagao…are you sure? i was able to choose from all of them. i chose the market plan too, i wanted to have more money to buy from the markets and stuff. i got my pennkey too last week

oh no. i havent started on the xcat stuff yet. hey alu, did you only submit ur syllabi or did u include exams/papers too?

paperrev, im an international too. by mail i’ve also only received the admission package. Wait, I though you register online for ur pennkey. I think I chose my own pennkey… i’m pretty sure there were instructions somewhere to help you do that.

hey fellas, i was wondering if anyone on the wlist has heard anything yet? did yall receive any email confirmations or any letters (notifications, ect) after you accepted the thing online? good luck

hey ker…

I can only choose from 4 meal plans too! ben’s, red, blue and liberty. seriously?!?!?!

really?? thats weird. what year are you guys?? i’m gonna be a junior so maybe that has something to do with it? are you looking under freshmen plans? or upperclassmen plans? there might be a difference. but idk if not then try calling whatever number is there (im not sure what department runs the meal plans!)

weiiird… I should be a junior as well…
hm… this worries me.
okay i’ll email them or something then. :S

I was accepted on Thursday and I applied for housing the following Wednesday; I got my housing assignment today.

I’ll be at Mayer Hall. Yahoo!
Initially it was my 3rd choice, but now I see that they have some of the best rooms on campus.

Unsaidcrap, on the XCAT form there is room to upload a syllabus and 2 extra documents. Those documents should either be important exams or papers you wrote.

(Btw, if the docs don’t want to load because of file size, e-mail them to the appropriate departmental contact provided on XCAT with an explanatory note.)
