with recent attacks on international students by the president, i’m not sure if upenn will take the risk of taking internationals off the waitlist. only time will tell

Unironically they haven’t replied to my email yet in like two weeks 
ig it’s in the spam folder, or they just aren’t enough motivated to reply to a future rejectee
What does “no reply” mean? It is usually replied. Did you ask a very difficult question to answer?
A few days ago, a classmate’s email was also replied to a few days later. And also said sorry for the late reply.
Not difficult lol. Mail was mainly about me asking confirmation about matching of my documents sent after getting waitlisted. And also about general waitlist update like how many they anticipate admitting or if there’s any priority list
About a week ago, after waiting a week, I sent another mail saying how such a kind reply could help me navigate the waitlist procedure properly
And no reply to any of those mails.
I am wondering
if applications@admissions.upenn.edu was even the right mailing address after all
They should be guided and unable to answer these questions of yours.
I think it took them like the same time to reply to me but they did eventually and apologised for the late response and explained what i asked
I am kind of hopeful again after seeing the waitlist thread for class of 2027, cuz their first wave came pretty late too, it was like late May, I guess we should also wait until like the last Thursday of this May (I am trying to not have hope but failed lol)
i just want to hear at least someone get off. that way, i know upenn waitlist is temporarily closed. does that make sense? i don’t wanna be here knowing no one has gotten off which leave me with an ambiguous feeling.
