Hi!

How is the acceptance rate for international undergrads at University of Pennsylvania?

Also, how are their Computer Science and Engineering Programs?

Thanks!

UPenn’s an Ivy and has a really good and respected engineering school. I guess this coming academic year will see its acceptance rate at around 13-14%.

Phreak, why?

Also, I read it’s easier to get into? Why?

Also, how is acceptance and COA at UT Austin?

@Tizil- Admission rates are falling nation wide, and UPenn’s rate this year was around 15% if I am not wrong, so it might drop…

@arvindch- Penn’s easier to get into relatively to the other Ivies as it usually has the second highest acceptance rate among the Ivies after Cornell. But don’t think of it as an easy school; Penn and Cornell are both extremely difficult to get into.

UT Austin’s a great school and its CS program is far better than many of the Ivies itself. Its somewhat easy to get into I guess. If I am not wrong, its acceptance rate must be around 40%?..

Ok. Also, how is FA and COA, for Indian Internationals at UTAustin?
Any idea where I should search for Scholarships? Where (a site, maybe?) do most internationals get scholarships/info?

Thanks!

42 accepted out of 460 indian applicants.
