Like many people out there I accumulate pictures on my phone as well as using a better camera (micro 4/3rds) on trips. I use Photoshop Elements to post-process – adjust color, brighten or darken, straighten. Just a few basic operations, so I don’t know how to do probably 95% of what the tool offers.
Photoshop Elements version 9 was released in the fall of 2010 so it is getting a bit old. I’m trying to figure out if there are any “gotta have” features that I would get with a purchase of the latest version. So far all I’ve been able to figure out is it would have content-aware fill that my version 9 only barely supported in the spot-healing brush. But not many websites compare software this old.
So I’m wondering if anyone out there is a steady Photoshop Elements user and can comment on what I’m missing out on with the old software. (And I’m trying for the record of most non-educational related post!)
