Upper Division Courses on UC APP (A-G Question)

I’ve taken a few graduate / upper div undergrad math & physics (think Topology, Functional Analysis, Non-Parametric Statistics, Theoretical Statistics, Eto Calculus, etc.) courses at a local Cal State. Am I required to report these as A-G courses? I got As / A+s in all, but a C in one I took at another Cal State. I know I have to report, just wondering if it’ll factor into my UC GPA.

Ito* calculus sorry.

If the courses are UC transferable, yes you have to report the courses on your UC application and yes they will be calculated into your UC GPA.

To add: I believe UCLA and UC Berkeley look at your transcript holistically, so your rigor will be considered as well.

All UC’s will consider your rigor not just selective campuses.

Are these eve considered A-G courses? This was an upper undergrad course that is nowhere found on assist or other similar websites.

So since it’s not UC transferrable, do I have to submit it?

If these upper division courses are on a transcript, you should report them under Other coursework non A-G if not UC transferable.

Many courses are not listed, but that does not mean that they are not transferable. ASSIST and UC Doorways mainly list college courses at California community colleges; courses from other colleges are unlikely to be found.

If your upper division courses are in math and physics, they should be counted in the C and D categories of the A-G courses.

I got confirmation from my highschool counselor that they aren’t considered A-G courses, but she also told me I don’t have to submit.

If I don’t have space on the UC application, what do I do then? Additional information? Do I have to send formal transcripts?

You should ask UC directly what to do. It seems rather unlikely that upper division math and physics courses would not be considered A-G (specifically C and D) courses.
