For MIT and Cornell, along with the CSS, what else do we have to send for the financial aid application?
Is there no way to send the IT returns via email to MIT?
Do we also have to send the IT returns to Cornell? Is it to be uploaded or sent via post?

If you are submitting the CSS Profile through College Board online, then the college will request you for documents themselves after processing the Profile you had submitted.

If you are submitting the International Financial Aid Application provided in .pdf that has to be filled, scanned and emailed to the financial aid office, then it is better to attach the copy of tax returns in that email. This application is a .pdf file provided by the College Board but is available through the college which you are applying to.

I hope I was able to make myself clear.

But you should still get it confirmed. I would suggest emailing/calling the financial aid office of the respective university to see what they have to say.

Good luck!

Thanks a lot for the reply.
And yes you did make the point clear.
