So I turned in my Master Promissory Note on time may I just say. The deadline was today, and because of my orientation and other events, I decided to turn it in today. So I sent SFS through email my MPN for my Perkins loan this morning and they sent me an email back saying they were in receipt of my documents. I then for good measure when I got home around 6 in Phoenix, which is 9 in Virginia, signed it electronically just in case. Well I went on my SIS today and found that my Perkins loan had been removed from my financial aid award, and the item had not been taken off of my To Do List. So now I am majorly concerned that I won’t get my loan even though I did submit my documents on the deadline. It said my financial aid award was updated 7/15/2015 at 4:45 p.m.
By the way I did email SFS, and I do plan to call them in the morning, but I am writing this post out of stress and concern for the time being.
