I was recently accepted to be a high school page for my state!!
I am really interested in politics, and interested in being a US page for the summer. I know you need a Representative/Senator to nominate you to be a US page, but how would someone go about asking a congressperson to nominate them?? I don’t know any congressperson personally, but I would REALLY love to be a US page! Help?

Contact your congressperson. If they can’t help you out, they’ll likely direct you to someone that can.

Thanks!
I just don’t know what to say when I call/email my congressperson. I would feel a bit weird since I really have never spoken to them before and just don’t have a clue as to what I should say! Would something like, “Hi my name is Janelle09 and I am interested in being a congressional US page this summer,” suffice?

Try typing or handwriting an actual letter. Explain why you’re writing. It doesn’t have to be anything elaborate, but it’d be best to make it more than one sentence.

I for-sure will follow your advice! Thanks so much, I never would have thought of that!

lol I sent an e-mail to my congressman asking about whether I qualified for an undergraduate internship (When I’m dually-enrolled) and he called me at like 9:30 in the morning a few days later. My other senator never responded to my e-mail (and I met her in person once).
When contacting them, remember being a senator page is harder and less people can nominate you.
