Notre Dame up to 17 makes sense since their 4 year grad rate is beast. Their high school counselor ranking is also high. IF this list is accurate, Emory ranked higher than Rice AND Vanderbilt just made my day. Being tied with them was annoying. In the next two years, I believe Emory will move to 15th because their endowment will be back on track and their acceptance rate should go down (this is dragging their ranking down a bit). I think there is room for improvement for Emory’s graduation rate as well. All in all, if this ranking is accurate, I’m pretty satisfied. I’m not worried about Notre Dame (the type of students they attract are NOT the same as the type of students Emory attracts). Rice and Vanderbilt, however, admits have (a lot of the times) been Emory admits. So being ranked above Rice and Vandy may help in terms of yield and other areas.

“Ohio St-53
Mich St- 73”

Thanks You!! Well, at least tOSU stays at #53 (no change from last year) under the new methodology!!! Hopefully, with this year’s best ever incoming freshman stats, the school could crack the Top-50 next year… :o
Also, I do expect MSU to rise in ranking as well when FRIB is up and running in the next 5 years or so… :o Time for me to take a walk… ;o

PS. I was right on Michigan at #29 this year! :)

Go Big Ten!!! lol~

Did Berkeley stay the same?

bahrain321 would you mind posting the actual scores for these schools? Thanks!

PS. I was right on Michigan at #29.

Yes, and tOSU is only 24 spots behind now instead of 26. It is rapidly catching up. LOL

Yes, #21 - same as last year.

UC Cal should have went up, while UCLA should have gone down.

Fordham please?

Okay, thanks. I thought so. I guess that’s good news that it didn’t go down. To be honest, though, I don’t really care. haha

If this ranking is legit, then congrats to Northwestern for making the top 10 ;)

We’re counting on you to help represent the Big Ten!!

^ You know that means NU is just overrated… :p

UC Cal? Hahah! It’s either Cal or UC Berkeley

This is all a ploy for USNWR to sell more editions.

^ Indeed, the most controversial ranking is Columbia @ 4 and Michigan being dropped to almost 30.

Seriously, Tufts over Michigan??

“Yes, and tOSU is only 24 spots behind now instead of 26. It is rapidly catching up. LOL”

hey rjk, I will take that!! Thanks for the reminder, sounds good to me!! ;p

Honestly, Michigan is screwed along with Texas under the new methodology this year imho… Ok, I am gonna chill now… :)

^ that was an awfully short walk.

I would love to know where Texas is ranked now that they’re oustide of the top 50. I don’t expect Bahrain to take requests all day though. I’m also curious about Florida and LSU.

"If this ranking is legit, then congrats to Northwestern for making the top 10
