Hey, the only time I could ever log on to OASIS was if there was a link on my application (for missing items) It think there is an OASIS for students and a different one for prospective students. Anyways, can someone give me the link for OASIS?

the link for oasis for applicants is this:

https://afa.usc.edu/AFA/pages/register.jsf

the link for students is this:

https://camel.usc.edu/OASIS/Login.aspx

(enter in your USC ID) then the first time password is your birthdate like this: MMDDYYYY

then they will ask you to change it. i think it’s a way to see ahead of time if you got in maybe. because you can see your stars report or something if they update it. also transfer credit report. so hopefully someone gets lucky.

Thanks aaam90

no problem.

lilmssmartypants- On average student’s financial aid package is $30,000

is that just grants or loans as well?

I DO NOT WANT AN SGR!!! I am seriously dreading one.

Why’s that CaptainRodeo?!

If your having a solid semester now, it can only help!

yeah i’d rather get a straight admittance too. because then i’d have to wait even longer. if i even get in nonetheless.

If you’re applying as a sophomore I think an SGR is inevitable though, because they just don’t have enough grades to fully decide if you should be accepted. I am actually expecting an SGR, otherwise that would mean they admitted me with only 14 quarter credits and I just don’t see that happening.

Guys…

I SERIOUSLY need help with Business Calc!

NO MATTER HOW MUCH I STUDY… I just CAN’T get that A! All my tests have been B’s so far!

Scared I won’t get into Marshall…

archieg - Business calc is easy. It’s certainly a prereq for Marshall but if you get a B then it’s alright. As long as you don’t receive a C in the class you’ll be fine kinda. I’ve got to take Business Calc and another calculus course to fulfill the prereqs to qualify for transfer to other schools besides USC.

Hi, I’m back and I have another question. On OASIS, under “Required(documents and information you need to submit)”, it says “None”. Does that include the School of Cinematic Arts materials?

Shwayzeee- I have As so far this semester, but I am always worried (I worry, stress, worry, stress,…) that I may get a B- It’s always a possibility and I always keep that in mind. And I will have a W this semester! So, just don’t want a damn SGR. But, I hope we both get in so we can have some corona and lime (though, I will not be YOUR corona and lime, sorry lol)

Linsper23- I honestly have no idea. If OASIS caters to peoples based on the particular school that they are applying to at USC, then yes, it means that it includes the materials needed for the School of Cinematic Arts. But, if OASIS, is just a general “documents check” system, then, no. I would just call up the admissions office and ask them.

I know that doesn’t answer your question, but hopefully it helped

So, I’m going to see Fast and the Furious tonight (I guess next morning). Pretty excited, going with some friends; though, I have to admit I am more excited to see the cool previews that this movie. Really want to see X-Men Origins- looks pretty good.

this fast and the furious actually looks good. that tokyo drift mistake was crap
