USC 2009 transfer thread

Wow, another decision made. Well, it depends on when your status was updated for when you will receive your decision. Since your in Ca, pretty soon I’m guessing.

What’s the date below your update, isra?

Damn grey, decisions are already being made. Pretty crazy huh? I wonder when we will hear…

yeah dude, I’m kinda envious, ha. Is this the earliest that decisions have been made? I mean, I don’t remember non-Viterbi applicants getting acceptances this early in the game last year. Maybe we’ll be hearing soon? What a lovely thought… lol.

I’m kinda nervous. From everything I have read on this thread, Viterbi applicants were the only ones to hear in April. Remember what W.o.T said before though, about USC giving early conditional acceptances? Maybe they just decided to act earlier this year…or maybe the paper work is easier this time around. Who knows. I hope we will hear soon. I had to overnight my parents’ tax returns last week, so maybe that will affect the time of my next update.

ANOTHER ONE!!! geez man!

what if tomorrow we all get updates. hahaha. man. i wonder what isra’s stats are. this is it you know guys. like AHHH! it’s nerve-wrecking to think about. unless your zamela. lucky.

Last year I didn’t get my letter until AFTER june 1 (though that was just the mail, it was probably sent the last week of May.) ! My SGR didn’t even come until the first week of May.
This is so crazy! And I still haven’t heard anything :C. I’m such a Debby Downer.

aaam90, it is crazy. After ALL this time, it is the moment of truth. It took forever during the wait, but looking back on it now, it went by fast. I guess that’s how it goes though.

Crazy crazy crazy ahhhhh! That’s what I have to say about that.

haha captain. but i hope our moment of truth comes sooner than later without that dang SGR. i can’t believe non-viterbi applicants have heard already. this defies the consensus of last years thread. it probably went by faster because we constantly were on CC. haha.

radredhead, did you have to create a new account this year to apply? or did you use the same one from last time
??

I dread the SGR. DREAD IT. I do not want it, but I guess I have to keep working this semester like I will/have received it- just in case. Being on CC DEFINITELY helped. It really is a great group of people on here and I think it shows how committed we are to our grades and transferring to USC!

yeah i know. i find myself constantly refreshing the page to see if someone posted something new haha.

hahaha… saaame here

where do i get USC ID? i never got it b4

no update since march lol

aaam90 - no I used the same user ID/login as I did last year. That was probably a poor decision. . . or was it? Anyone else do that?

kmizzle, did you try your application confirmation email?? i don’t know where else to check.

radredhead: i was actually unable to use the same login for what reason, i’m not sure. so i created a new one. i don’t think really matters. i just thought maybe you were checking your new login for updates when they would be updating the old login (that’s what happened to me.) but i don’t know. that’s pretty weird that you haven’t at least received the second update.

why would that be a poor decision? i need to know in case things don’t work out this year and i reapply next year lol

yeah i checked all the emails, i just emailed them so hopefully i can get it

kmizzle, i see my USC id when i login in to check my status. then i click on update profile information. then, scroll down and the usc id is there.

o **** i got it i think thanks

shooshushoeshou: i don’t think it really matters. don’t worry about it. and hopefully things will work out for you this year so you don’t have to concern yourself with such thoughts.
