Man USC is hella popular…

Drink to Acceptances! as I sip my imaginary Patron…chug my imaginary Patron

thanks aaam90! u are very motivational haha :)

Maybe I actually got in and they just misplaced my file and that is why it hasn’t been updated since October.

Yeahhh I definitely need to call them.

i used my same USC ID from my freshman app last year. I really don’t think it matters

kmzizzle,
I’ve had that same status since March aswell. Gah!

Anyway, for your USC ID you can ask through here:
https://caravan.esd.usc.edu/Contactus/uga.asp?aid=1

At the drop-down lists, select “Undergraduate Admissions” then select “I need my USC ID number”. You’ll hear back by tomorrow, they’re pretty quick about responding to these, especially since the Freshmen are no longer up their a.s.s. :)

wow. i assume they only work mon-fri and so there won’t be any status updates on the weekends? not to say i have not checked it daily…what are your stats, Israbeckham?

i turn my back for THREE seconds, and we get another acceptance up in this thread?
man these are some fast acceptances that are going down ![]()
congratulations to all! :)

Wow, I’m envious of all these acceptances…still patiently waiting…

man i’m so jealous…even of the peeps who got SGR’s…

lol okay well I cant find when the update was, when I got that message it was the first time that I checked Oasis.

I’m not gonna post all my stats now, but in brief I am applying to Marshall for Business Administration, with a 3.8 from CCC, will enter as a junior.

Applicant Status Messages
The University of Southern California is pleased to offer the ability of students to receive online messages regarding the status of their application. However, all decision notifications are made via postal mail.

Your status:

The committee has acted on your application, and we have mailed notice of the decision. If for some reason you do not receive our written notice, we will be happy to provide the results this over the phone beginning June 11th.

Additional messages:

None

Required (documents and information you need to submit)
None

I just got rejected by UCLA btw, so I think USC is 50-50 chance

hey isra, if you check your online application thru the website, you’ll be able to find out the date.

and even though the decisions are defying last year’s theories, there was a theory that rejections were not sent out until later. so maybe this early decision is a positive sign. :)

Okay, I might be in a dilemma
If USC does not contact me my decisions by June 1st, should I sign my UCI SIR which is due by that day?
I probably will, since I cannot take any chances; BUT, what if I do get accepted to USC which is a college I want to choose over UCI?
Is rejecting the SIR after accepting it very bad? What are the consequences?
Big fine? Not legally possible to go to USC, or is it just losing my SIR fee?
Uhoh.

I can’t wait to see that status message on my profile. CAN’T WAIT!

alarasus, you can submit an SIR then withdraw it, but you will lose the non-refundable fee. An SIR is not legally binding - but rather a non-refundable deposit. Don’t worry about it.

omg people are getting decisions so quickly! i’m sure you guys got in! XD

hey from what i see (people who transferred before me), usc does not actually reject people on spot. it may be as late as july till u hear back from them, probably after people reject usc’s offer.

isra, I know you said you won’t post your stats now…buuut… how many units are you transferring with?

Thank you grey!

nevermind isra, you said you will be entering as a junior… thanks
