<p>Got a SGR today, applied as freshman econ major, 3.3 HS GPA, 3.74 college GPA, 2100 SAT. Do they do flat out rejection or does everyone get SGR?</p>
<p>Not everyone gets an SGR - people do get flat-out rejections.</p>

<p>I think you do. Your SAT is strong, and your lacking HS GPA, I would think, is being overshadowed by your strong college GPA.</p>

<p>that’s good. i’m a freshman too but i haven’t received an SGR. i’m pretty sure i’m going to get one though because i’ll only have 36 units after this semester. but 60 with APs included. but hopefully i don’t, but it WOULD be better than a straight rejection.</p>

<p>i have a friend who knows an annenberg professor who is very well accomplished in his field as well as a student at annenberg. she told me in an email that the news on campus is that annenberg had A LOT of applicants this year (and she emphasized the A LOT) so i was a bit discouraged by the news. </p>
<p>hopefully we can all be distinguished as the cream of the crop!</p>

<p>good question, i don’t think she specified but she knew that I was a transfer when she asked them. she sent them my application and they said that i seemed like a “fantastic” applicant but that more often than not, they prefer students who have completed two years of coursework. </p>
