USC 2009 transfer thread

aaam… breathe haha

representin’ east sideeeeee  haha

hahaha thanks peppamintt.

and you’re welcome captain. hopefully you hear soon.

lol, I keep thinking about the drive across the country if I get into USC. I thought driving 5 hours to get from NJ to NY was bad… how about 3 days to get to LA? lmao

my cousin drove from washington dc to LA… took him 4 days!!!

^^ that would be super fun if you went with a bunch of people and you all took turns driving and drawing on the sleeping people’s faces.

i was born in boston, but my mom said it was way too cold so we moved to san jose. i wonder what it would have been like if i had a bostonian accent

i love the boston accent =D its so awesome.

lol zamela. i’ve always wondered how different accents and languages in general came about. it’s kind of weird if you think about it.

do people with bostonian accents think we have californian accents. i know we all don’t say “bro” and “dude” all the time. :)

oh and i forgot to tell you guys, my usc sweater got me more free stuff!

I went to Baskin Robbins for the cheap ice cream today and the guy behind the counter told me he was hoping to go to usc next year and gave me my ice cream for free! even though it was cheap, but i went with my dad and sister as well, so it was all of ours

so in conclusion pasadena loves USC :D

lol man! i should start wearing some USC stuff and get free stuff and save myself 31 cents hehe. you’re so lucky.

kinda like norcal and socal lingo. i think “stoked” and “legit” are weird, but people from socal think “hella” is weird.

captainrodeo – did you email using the contact us page on the website? or did you email your region admission counselor?

even though my GPA is within marshall range (3.85) i’m considering telling them to add econ as my 2nd major. should i do this?

Jocelyne626,

I tried to go to Baskin Robbins earlier, but there was seriously 20 people waiting in line. Moms and babies everywhere! I settled for Jamba Juice instead. I’m kind of mad about it still. I really wanted ice cream!

USC sweatshirt… I wonder if that’s allowed on UCLA’s campus.

tha4answ3r: i think that’s a good idea. it can’t hurt you so why not. you should probably email your regional counselor. i’ve always felt that it was more personal that way haha.

yeah zamela, my cousin was originally from down here. she moved up there to go to SFSU and now she says hella all the time. so i’ve gotten used to it. we talk on skype a lot haha.

and

what’s wrong with “legit” and “stoked” lol. i say these quite frequently.

jennnn- aww lame, but when we are at usc lets go get baskin robbins and see if we can get it for 31 cents lol and if you want to live…dont wear it at ucla

aaam90- yes wear USC, days are always better when you do haha

tha4nsw3r I would DEFINITELY do it. Do it to it. Oh, and I emailed the regional one :)

I always say legit and stoked as well… Hella does sound weird though, I’ll admit

legit sounds funny! hahah i hear my teachers say that and it’s just sooooooo weird. i try to be careful with who i say “hella” around
