OH **** I JUST GOT A “FORWARDED STATUS” CHANGE!!!
ANGJLADNGJLADNGLADJNGJA

just kidding.

That was epic. Haha.

Ohhhhh snaaappp!

i hope i didnt jinx it. *fingers crossed :D

I don’t bother checking my status anymore either. As someone already, it really will make it seem that much longer. However, I do check this forums about every other day.

Quick question …

Winter grades just came out and I was wondering what is the best method for turning in my transcript to USC?

Should I have my school mail the transcript directly to USC or is it fine for me to fax it in myself?

@sky-raptor lol mine just came out today. I’m going to have my school send my winter transcript to USC. I heard it was more secure than faxing, as I heard from a few people who faxed in their transcripts that USC never got their transcripts, and they had to either drive to USC and personally drop it off or mail them an official copy.

I understand that most people send their winter grades, but would you guys reconsider if your grades were as follows:

Biology Lab: A-, Biology Lecture: A, Anthropology: A-, Physics Lab: A, Physics Lecture: B

I’m tempted not to send due to my “B” in Physics Lecture; despite this, does it reflect on me horribly? I feel as though science majors are significantly tougher then, for example, Psychology (no offense) or other similar studies- would they take that into consideration? Furthermore, when half the class failed, I deem this grade a stronger accomplishment than perceived. Thus, what should I do?

are you kidding those grades are awesome, i’d send them in right away

I concur. Submit those grades as soon as possible. Don’t sell yourself short.

does any1 know what the “Student Correspondence” is? i don’t even remember filling that out

Did you write them a separate letter, or send someone an e-mail?

i did write an email regarding a change in my spring classes in progress… is that what it is?

Yep, that’s what it is.

i need to cut back on status checks and college board because it does make the wait seem longer

i only use the online status check from the usc website what is oasis?

also i just realized that i won’t even know if i am accepted or not because for the month of may i will be in El Salvador

@dreamingusc - how many credits do you have? if you have a full year then i would not send them in because they will probably not ask for a grade request if you have a 4.0, those grades are really good, but if i were you i would just wait until they asked me

I have seventy-one quarter units (about forty-seven in semester units) completed, but I will probably abstain from sending them for two reasons: my performance declined from last quarter, and Physics is a requirement for my Pre-Medical emphasis. Because I attend a four-year on the quarter system, the class will not be an equivalent to USC’s unless I take the next course, which I was unable to register for due to budget cuts; therefore, assuming I get in, I will take the class over next year and hopefully receive an “A” (for medical school).

@MBtown: OASIS is this: https://camel2.usc.edu/ESD/IOL/login.aspx</a>
it’s basically the same thing as USConnect except that the links (from financial aid to application status) are on one page.

All the financial documents i uploaded on USC connect are not showing up on my OASIS even if it already says on the document management system in USC Connect that they have received those files. Idk why OASIS is being weird…or maybe their system is just taking forever to update?
