sigh… the things I do for USC transfering, I just finished winter quarter and am currently on spring break (I’m on a quarter system) and I’m currently taking a class at a community college near my unviersity JUST FOR the USC Category V Arts and Letters and I have a midterm tomorrow ON SPRING BREAK ;[!

I just hope all of our hard work will pay off in hopefully what will be 6-8 weeks.

… this is what my oasis status says? "Your application is being reviewed by the admission committee. We will mail notification of their decision by April 1. If for some reason you don’t receive our written notice, we will be happy to provide the results over the phone beginning April 11th. "

so i tried to login to oasis and it would not work, do i use my usc id number? and same password from the application status check? or is oasis for students who applied for financial aid only?

that happened to a person in the usc 2009 transfer thread last year on yesterdays date and she ended up being accepted but idk if there is a connection, but still something i guess

will people please post pictures of the admission package when they get it? but not the contents haha. i just want to see what the envelop looks like :D

So I just went on the Oasis site. And it says:
“Your status: We have received your application, and we need more information. Please ensure you have submitted all required items. Due to the high volume of application documents we receive, allow sufficient processing time.”

But then in the Required: Documents and Information You Need to Submit section it says:
None.

??? I got a letter from them a couple weeks ago saying they need my transcripts and I sent them so it should be all good. I’ll call tomorrow but does anyone know why the system is being so painfully difficult? LoL

@thelongshot - keep in mind they are still taking care of all the incoming freshmen information. they dont start on transfers for another week or so. wait like 2 weeks. but just to be sure, id call. just be really polite cuz im sure they get these calls ALL day. :D

Someone up there said they changed their courses in progress, and I need to tell USC that I did too but what email address should I use?? It’s 3 am and I don’t know why I’m on here and I can’t find a good email to send my correspondence! Maybe because it’s 3 am?? Help. Someone.

My current status says, "We have received and are currently reviewing your application. We recommend you check here occasionally for an update on the status of your application. "

Is this common? are alot of you recieving the same. I’ve heard that these status messages can be a tell-tale sign of the process of the review board, and their ultimate decisions.

USC runs in my family’s blood, i have prayer groups praying for me…how sad is that!ha.

This is weird, the option to check my admission status on Oasis is gone - the link totally disappeared. The “Financial Aid” links are still there though.

@daisydaisy - what jhsocal said. lol. i did it and they replied within a week.

@deborahmei - well if you have to kick something make sure its not yourself. :)

@BeauSelisker1990 - pretty much all of us have the same status. when the status changes to “your application has been forwarded to the reviewing committee…blah blah blah” (something along those lines) then USUALLY you are accepted.
