same. its USC or bust.
but i wouldnt mind going to cal.

same here.

oh me…endless, sleepless nights.

Hey everybody :P

i’m the same way. USC or bust (stay in Oklahoma!) i am tired of seeing people wear cowboy boots, i just don’t find it fasionable

For me its USC for UCSB (aka bust)

I’m on the same boat! It’s either USC or bust. I hope we get in! Knowing that HS students received their acceptance/rejection letters already is making me really antsy. I’m so desperate, I need to know.

Also, HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!

Same for me, USC or bust! I’m pretty much maxed out at my CC and the only other place I applied was Cal Poly SLO (bust as far as I’m concerned).

I was having anxiety the other night and spent a few hours going through last years forum and could barely get to sleep! I just want to know already!

Its USC or bust for me too! I can’t handle another year at CC!! I need to get out of northern california!!

Haha for so many people it is USC or bust. I hope we can all get in, it would seriously be the biggest moment in my life.

I was going through the freshman thread, and I was wondering, how exactly do the acceptances work? Does everyone receieve an accceptance before June, and then rejections after? Does that make sense??

@tibbs Same. I can’t handle another year in community college. It’s not that it’s a bad cc but it’s just too dull for me.

I feel you guys. I’m at a four-year school where the masses are generally indifferent to their educations. I applied to three schools though.

@daisydaisy - freshmen all receive their decisions by the first week of April. That is why they start to look at transfer apps as of April 1st. Transfers then start to hear usually the first few weeks of May and everyone gets a decision or SGR by June 1st.

@Everyone else re: USC or bust! - Did you all really only apply to USC? I mean I love usc and am confident I’ll get in but I still applied elsewhere to schools I’d be happy going to just in case :)

Hi I got rejected from usc this year as an entering freshman and I plan to transfer which school would be easiest to transfer from NYU,BU, or Elon.

@ kulakai

Where else did you apply?

I don’t think anyone would know exactly which school would be “easiest” to transfer from. I would imagine they would look at your performance at any of those schools. I don’t see the adcom weighing someone coming from a community college the same as someone coming from schools like NYU or BU

Man oh man, I’ve been going over my application for the past couple of hours now and I am just not satisfied with it. I keep finding areas where I should have worded things differently or re-oranged a few sentences. Ahhh. I initially thought it was pretty strong when I clicked submit, but now I don’t know. Oh well, too late…

Am I just crazy insecure or do you guys do that also?

yea I see that I want to go to elon which is a private school in NC because it is the closest to home but i don’t know if they will see that as being an adequate school I am also worried about credits

@Slaz1091 - I agree with fujiwarae. I also spoke with a USC representative on my CC campus during one of our “transfer days” and they told me that ALL transfer applicants get the same treatment, go through the same processes, and must meet the same criteria; whether they’re from “NYU, or a local community college” -I quoted that because that’s what she actually said.
