<p>@kulakai- This year, usc is the only school i applied to. mainly because i am a freshman and most schools require 60 units to transfer. if i dont get in this year i will apply to more schools just as back ups but usc is the only school i can see myself at</p>
<p>I was USC or bust last year, when I was a freshman, and it didn’t pay off for me but everything happens for a reason. This year I’ve applied to three schools.</p>

how you feel. My ECs are amazing. I shouldve elaborated on them. Like I put down that I am an eagle scout but I didn’t even describe my service project. I didn’t even recall a place where to describe my academic accomplishments. And I didn’t even mention I worked with a 2x Olympian…what’s wrong with me</p>
<p>@budlightyear- I do that as well. In fact, I’ve been doing it since I submitted my application in October! </p>
<p>I have a foot in the door for an internship in LA next semester, so now all my hopes really do rely on USC!</p>
<p>USC or bust for me - I applied to LMU, but if I am not accepted to USC I might stay at the same school because I do not know if schools are less likely to accept someone who transfered after freshman year and then again after sophomore year – does anyone think if I am accepted to LMU but not USC I should just transfer twice??</p>
<p>@budlightyear - when I applied I thought that my app was strong as well and when I keep going over it I pick little things that could be said differently and what not, so I am right there with you</p>

<p>My suggestion to everyone is to keep yourself busy. Focus on what’s apparent … life, school, finals … etc. Do your best at the present and soon enough our decisions will be out.</p>
<p>Try not to look at your application. There is nothing that can be done now that it is submitted. Re-reading it will only make you feel helpless if you find an area that needs improvement or change. I found this out the hard way!</p>
<p>I’m not as worried now as I will be if I get in next year. I’ve read multiple online student reviews of the Pre-Medical classes at USC and apparently they are God-awful and arguably the hardest at the school (along with Viterbi). Although that can be expected at any top-notch school, I’m definitely afraid of the coursework to come (yet excited for the challenge at the same time). </p>
<p>Oh, and USC is the only school I applied for as well. I figured that I am already at a four-year, and there’s no need to apply elsewhere, considering there’s no other university I’d like to study at. If I do receive a rejection letter, then I’ll fight on and try again next year :)</p>
<p>Oh, and there was just a 6.9 earthquake. You have to love California.</p>

<p>It sucks because USC is the only school I want to go to. I haven’t applied anywhere else because I’ve totally convinced myself I’m going to USC… even if I have to go to my cc another year. I’ve been to pretty much every UC campus and all of them suck :p</p>
<p>But my backup plan if I don’t get into USC this year is cc for another year, try for USC again but also apply to Berkeley and UCLA… even though neither of those places have a program I want to study. USC has MY major. I’ll probably end up going to law school if I don’t get into USC… I mean obviously after I went to another school. And I’d want to go to USC law 
although I’m still toying with the idea no matter where I go, but that’s a whole other transfer thread.</p>
