<p>Hey everyone,</p>
<p>I had a question about the foreign language requirement for Annenberg. </p>
<p>I haven’t yet taken a foreign language class at my university and was wondering if that would negatively affect my application.</p>
<p>I did, however, take Spanish in high school up until level 3 (2 years in middle school equivalent to 1 year in high school, and 2 years in high school).</p>
<p>I agree, Oasis is much eaiser.</p>
<p>For those of you using USCConnect–Can you access it all of the time? I can’t right now. In fact, I can pretty much never access it weekdays between 9-5.</p>
<p>Just to clarify I can access USCConnect, but the “admissions” tab always times out.</p>
<p>@wghiller are you trying to access from the same place? I can’t access it at school or work because of the internet for some reason, but can access it at home whenever.</p>
<p>So what do you guys think about the language requirement? My cc doesn’t offer foreign language past the 100 level so I was only able to complete 3 quarters of it. Do they just make you take a placement test and then make you take two more quarters? What if you place lower than the 200/300 level? Do you think they make you retake Spanish I, II, III and then IV and V? It’s weird to me.</p>
<p>@wghiller i can always access USConnect, the only thing you have to make sure is that your pop up blocker is turned off</p>
<p>@rhandler/trojanhopeful- Maybe that is the problem. I just assumed it was the hours of the day, but it’s probably just during the time I’m on my schools wireless. My current school must not want me to transfer! Ha.</p>
<p>@wghiller Haha it’s funny because all the other schools I applied to I’m allowed access to. What school do you currently go to?</p>

<p>Moorpark College, as well as Santa Monica and LA Mission–budget cuts affected my classes so I had to find a way to take all the classes I needed.</p>
<p>I hear you, I had to double up at Pasadena City College (my main campus) and Santa Monica College last fall.</p>

<p>I got my status update finally so they began looking at my app today.</p>
<p>Got an update but not sure what to make of it…
They are asking for my transcripts again. I had submitted them already and they were acknowledged. </p>

<p>I’m getting nervous now. Beginning the application process I thought I was solid, now the anticipation is making me second guess everything…</p>

<p>My status is the same as yours still. I’m trying not to worry but I can’t help it. I don’t think its indicative of our chances, but I do worry that it means our decisions will be made later. I’m too antsy to keep waiting! Haha</p>
