<p>Question: The admissions website says we will be notified of admission BY June 1st or a letter will be sent OUT on June 1st?</p>

<p>I just called Admissions today and the guy said that they need my spring grades to make a decision since theyre making them right now, which is odd since I never got a SGR in the mail or anything.</p>
<p>whatever, just sent in my spring grades. All A’s (stats, bus law, accounting 1b, government) and a C (calculus) for my 18 units. </p>
<p>Worried about my calculus grade, but it was an extremely tough course and the only people that got A’s in the class only had that one class. Hope my other grades, especially my accounting 1b “A” will cushion the blow from my shortcoming in calculus.</p>
<p>f ml. This will be the longest 6 days of my life.</p>

<p>Here’s what’s up with me.</p>
<p>This morning my status was:
“We are unable to process the status of your application at this time. Please try again later, or Contact Us with any questions or concerns you might have.”</p>
<p>Called my counselor and faxed in my grades.</p>
<p>Now it’s:
“We have received the spring grades requested by the committee. We will be forwarding your file for further review very soon. For students submitting spring grades, we typically mail final decisions by mid-July.”</p>
<p>He emailed me saying I should have my decision this week or next.</p>
<p>Thank you Mr. Counselor for expediting my spring grades. (As in everything) :D</p>

my adm counselor says that SCA has already made a decision. I have no idea what to take from that but none of it’s been very comforting…i kinda accepted that I most likely won’t be getting on :/</p>

<p>I highly doubt it. Avg admit GPA was 3.6 I believe.</p>

<p>Extremely low. As an example… I just got my SGR and I have a decent app with a 3.77. Lets hope I’m lucky. Anyone have #'s on SGR acceptance rate?</p>

as a former “we have received” pool applicant for a million years, i thought that was frustrating but this a BILLION times more nerve-racking. im going to end up with no fingernails if i keep trying to stop myself from refreshing USConnect SIGHH.</p>
<p>dug up this old post from four years back. anyone think similar stats may still apply? Check out the SGR accepted percentage! Not too sure how credible this info is though (personally think the 54% admit rate is way too high to begin with)</p>

<p>If you’re looking for ‘chances’ or ‘odds’ I surely can tell you that there are none for USC. One was rejected with a 3.72 GPA. Many were rejected with absolutely stellar stats and EC’s, and some were accepted with not so stellar stats even. Ironically, some of the most diehard 'SC fans did not get in. It’s tough to see it, but unforunately I guess that’s just how it goes…</p>
