USC 2010 Transfer Thread

Thank you so much Serapher…you almost make me cry…I only applied usc that’s all …I moved to Cali from washington just for this school…it took me for LONG time to apply to USC though…finally i did…and 6 month wating is almost over…I applied last oct…wow i can’t believe it’s almost june 1st now…okay…everybody cheer up…thanks again…

@serapher- lol, there we go. hahaha.

What happens if we take a class over the summer and get accepted? Does that summer class transfer over or will they reject it?

If anyone has suggestions, let me know. I feel like these threads move so fast that most posts get pushed back a few pages haha.

Here’s what I’m looking for. Housing that is:

1) CLOSE to USC(walking distance, like Gateway)
2) $1000 or less
3) You get your own room(unlike Gateway. Looking for 4 rooms, 4 people…not 2 for 4.)
4) Has a lot of units and is mostly all USC students.

@VicEvo Congrats!!!
I talked to the USC admission office and they said I got in!!! XD
I’m so happy we both got in!! Marshall!!

@yukiusc- why did they tell you?

Did you just call to admission office?

Has there been anyone that has received their acceptance package without their status being changed?

@southOC/eso0915 - yukiusc is international and won’t get their package for a while I imagine. If you call and say you’re in Asia somewhere then I guess maybe they’re willing to tell you via phone.

anyone still have the “forwarded to…” status? anyone have it more then 1 or 2 weeks? :frowning:
only few days left and mine still not changing…

@kielyy - i’ve had it since May 3rd. :frowning: Asked the admissions counselor today about it. She said no to worry, that they often don’t change. It’s probably still being reviewed, whatever that means…

has anyone gotten a rejection letter yet or an acceptance package without the status changing?

oh…I see…thanks kulakai

@TSakai- I also call the admission office few times for it…they told me not to worry they are probably still reviewing it and because it’s reviewed by a team it probably takes longer :frowning: but yea you know we will still be worry as hell…

also I asked did they send out any rejection letters, the reply was they will sent out every decision as soon as they made it

btw I had it since may10th :(

Does anyone still have the “reviewing” status for Marshall? I’d had it for almost 2 months now. May 29th can’t come anytime sooner!!

@SouthOCtrojan, Kulakai,
Yes, I’m international, and I explained my situation like Kulakai said.
I said, “I want to know the decision by June 1st, so I can avoid to process my UCSD acceptance.” They told me I got in to Business with condition of B in English2 class.
I took that class already and got B.

@kielyy -
the only thing that i may disagree with is that they send out every decision as soon as it’s made. I say this because, no one has gotten rejection letters yet and people have received acceptance packages…

I wish if i were rejected they would just let me know now, rather than putting me in this stressful-sleepless state! haha

Congrats Yuki! ^_^

Also, my constant reminder to everyone, please join our USC 2010 CC’ transfers facebook group: <a href=“Facebook Public Group | Facebook”>Facebook Public Group | Facebook;

@tsakai: I feel the same way too. But if anything tomorrow or Friday is the last day to send anything out so it would get to everyone on June 1st because of the holiday.

@kielyy: i have the same situation as u. I have been on forward since May 3, but at least we were qualified because Mr Popular said that if we were flat out not qualify for USC, we would had seen that rejection letter already. so there is still hope.

oya so theres only 3 days left of mail before the deadline cuz they dont deliver sunday or memorial day…and Im not even home to get it. f ml.

@SouthOCtrojan - didn’t you get an sgr? June 1st deadline is only for those getting accepted/rejected outright without a need for spring grades.
