I heard somewhere that the housing application was due tomorrow. But for those who have had SGR’s and have not received their grades yet, does that mean that there is no chance that they will receive on campus housing?

@ Serapher–thanks for the help! the backdoor method isn’t working for me yet though, i guess I’ll wait a couple more days since I received my acceptance package on saturday (5/29) and it was dated 5/28.

Does anyone know how to submit the spring grade by using the usconnect? There’s a link - “Download Forms”, but not working for me. How to make it works? Thanks

@Kulakai, yeah but there’s is no an opinion as submitting an electronic version. I don’t have a fax machine, and I don’t want to send it by mail… so I think the best way to turn in my spring grade would be uploading it on the Usconnect

You can’t upload stuff to usconnect. You can either Mail, fax, or email to your regional admissions representative.

If you don’t want to mail and don’t have a fax machine you can do one of two things.

A.) Scan the transcript and email it to your regional admissions representative.
B.) Scan and use a free web fax service such as [Free Fax • Online Fax Service](http://www.gotfreefax.com/) however note that when you fax stuff, it just gets scanned again and emailed to your admission reps inbox so you might as well do option A. to save time.

They will still request you to mail in an official copy of your final transcript though so you might as well do that at the same time.

@buusey and Serapher actually the deadline to make a deposit for the transfer students who received a spot for housing is tomorrow. i got an email from housing telling me to make a deposit by June 1. However, I believe there is still a chance that you may be able to get housing after you are accepted, although it might be a bit slim, but there is still a chance. :D

Deposits after being assigned housing are generally due, I think, 3 days after receiving the assignment. There is no deadline for applying that I know of.

Yes when you upload them there, it essentially gets sent to your admissions rep just like an email basically but this way it is automated and no email required.

If you do not have a scanner, go to an internet cafe which should have one. Scan the transcripts, email a copy to yourself just in case you need it later, and then upload it.

I would suggest scanning the transcript into pdf. Most scanning software will convert it to pdf for you easily.

last “pre-decision” night
99.9% of what I heard is indicating it’s gonna be a bad news tomorrow
hopefully that 0.1% of miracle will arrive at my door tomorrow

@mrxl33 - Not being able to access it does not mean a thing because it can take upwards of a whole week for accepted students to be able to access it.

@mrxl33- no the backdoor method indicate acceptance but not the other way around so there is nothing bad you cant access to the backdoor method, but there was some theory saying if you get the forwarded status for too long it usually indicate rejection

also I was surprised that they didnt require SGR since some important works are still in progress

I am a transfer and was assigned to Annenberg House but I am also considering University Gateway. If cost is only a slight concern, where would I have a better living experience, meet more people, have the most fun etc.
