USC 2010 Transfer Thread

Status system is still not fixed.

hey guys i think the status system is fixed because yesterday mine said forwarded to committee and today it says acted on and they have mailed my decision. ahhh!

It is not fixed for everyone. I imagine they have multiple servers that the application system is hosted on so the status might show for some and not show for others.

kittycats, are you checking usconnect?

Just checked the other status system and it works.

The committee has acted on your application, and we have mailed notice of the decision. If for some reason you have not received our written notification, we will be happy to provide the results over the phone 10 days after your letter was mailed.

Grades sent in 6/22
Acted on today 6/24? Assumption considering I couldn’t check my status.

Let’s hope for the best!

The enrollment form comes up when I try the backdoor! wooooohooooo

what’s the backdoor method that people have been mentioning?

Are you talking about Oasis?

I logged onto oasis and i don’t see a status.

Backdoor method
https://camel2.usc.edu/AdmCertification/Default.aspx</a></p>

Where I saw my updated status
https://camel2.usc.edu/AdmOnlineApplication/</a></p>

@brianlee
I went to the backdoor method and was able to access the page after login which requested a deposit…does that mean i’m in?

I believe so John…congrats!

I think everyone in this thread that was able to access that page was ultimately accepted. Just got to wait for the package to make it official!

@brianlee: so do I make the deposit yet or wait for the package to do so?

Some people have made the deposit as soon as they were able to access the page, but just hold off on it to be honest. Being able to access is a good indicator, but I’m sure its not a guaranteed thing.

What difference is 1 or 2 days going to make?

Well, time to bust out the tent and camp it out on the curb for the mailman.

for those of you that have been admitted how do you find the transfer credit evaluations? is it mailed home or can you go on USC website and find it?

Yes, i found my status on the application site under the admission tab of usc connect, for the backdoor method, do I just use my username/login? because my username is my email address…

Just handed off my Spring grades in person at the admission office today, I should be expecting my response by Tuesday I suppose?

What are the two status sites? I log into USConnect but my status is still missing.

@Brian Lee: on the other status system, is the User ID and password the same as what you enter in for the normal login?

@molamann: It really depends. I sent mine in two weeks ago, and I’m still waiting for a response. I know they have them, because I called and asked and they said the received my grades, but I guess it’s just taking them forever,

@JohnUSC310: One is logging into usconnect, the other is logging into https://camel2.usc.edu/AdmOnlineApplication/</a> which is essentially the application system that usconnect directs you to when you click on undergraduate application.

They both end up going to the same thing, just one is more direct.
