USC 2010 Transfer Thread

for some reason that link doesnt even work for me! it wont let me log in. i can only use the usc connect way =/

Same for me! ugh. im frustrated.

Yeah the system is messed up. They know about it and are trying to fix it.

Does anyone need USC campus housing for USC email maus@USC.edu … 4 spots I need out of my contract!

I have a question about the transfer credit report.

So it says that I have a total of 41 attempted units so far, but it only lists 28 under the UNITS EARNED TOWARD THE COLLEGE BASIC REQUIREMENT.

Does this mean I have to take a total of 100 units at USC to meet the 128 graduation requirement or would it be 87?

@beau and kitty

No. USConnect and the other link do not use the same login information. You have to make a different password on that website.

to all those still waiting for SGR responses, FIGHT ON :)

I’m scared! I can’t log in using the backdoor method =/ guess ill just wait for the mail!

USC housing by the row! PM if you’re interested in greek life and you want an apartment for this Fall!!

xxpendable, yes, it’s mailed home. You can also check it online in two ways. The easiest is to log into https://my.usc.edu/</a>, go to the student resources tab, click OASIS, click the “to access the service you request” option and then click transfer credit report. The other way is to go to https://camel2.usc.edu/OASIS/Login.aspx</a>. I think to login this way you use your USC id as the username and your birthdate as the pass (MMDDYY).

Quentin13, I believe you just take 128 and subtract the “total number of units accepted in the transfer”. It sounds like that’s 28 in your case, though. In that situation, you would need 100. That’d probably be 3 years and maybe a single course one summer, I think?

Also, I heard back from the financial aid office. Apparently they do assign aid the exact same for on campus versus off campus housing.

So it seems like the status thing isnt going to be fixed…

Like the admissions counselor said, the 2010 application period is over. So far, only those with their applications acted on can see the status.
I pestered the lady about the status last week, and she basically yelled at the phone saying I should call back in a week.

Kulakai, still hoping for the status to be restored?

Turned in my SGR last thursday -_- Takes them a week to process the paperwork. There was basically no point in dropping off the paperwork in person.

Two people apparently successfully accessed the status system yesterday. Since they were both acted on, maybe that has to do with who’s getting information posted?

I have absolutely no status…its blank…however I AM able to login using the backdoor method. Wouldn’t that mean that my application has been acted on? Yet, still no status.

When prompted to I updated the information on the status page. Did anyone else do the update because I feel if I would have left it alone my status would be there. Now its as if I’m going to apply all over again.

I did the update when I was going through the process and never had an issue with it. If you can log in via backdoor then, based on everyone else in this thread, you’re in.

i have an updated fin. aid review that shows on oasis…it had not been reviewed since april…i know USC is need blind, but do they review your info again before making a final decision?..

Wow just got my financial aid. All I received was an unsubsidized loan, no grants or even cal grant mentioned. Anyone know if this is the complete financial aid package?

By just got I mean that I just viewed it online. Can it be that its just an update to my financial aid package and that there are still some things they need to add?

Based on previous cases like this, your package is probably not done yet.

@serapher I hope not because having an unsubsidized loan only would really make me change my decision on going. Hope for the best!
