USC 2010 Transfer Thread

^ I sure hope not. =/

That’s not true at all… I know people who got their acceptance packages in late July and even August in the past years

yeah i know someone personally that got in around July

“Double Major Within the College of Letters, Arts and Sciences…”

It looks like the lower division courses count for both and the upper division courses count partially toward both. I’d email an advisor to clarify.

Hey guys,

so I got a SGR and I turned in my grades on Friday 6/25 and on the same day my application said forwarded to committee and I just checked my application right now Monday 6/28 and my application now says “The committee has acted on your application, and we have mailed notice of the decision.” Dos anyone know if this means anything if it switches so soon, does it mean an automatic rejection or acceptance.

Thanks

@collegekid26 - It does not mean anything at this point.

@collegekid…have you tried the backdoor method?..my app was acted on yesterday, but the link is not working for me…

gionrio- the backdoor doesn’t work for me and my friend that got in the school it doesn’t let him log in either.

@collegekid…did your app get acted upon yesterday or today?..a few pages back kittykat received her acceptance package and the backdoor link did not work for her either…so im trying to find some comfort in that and just be hopeful…

@gionrio - the backdoor method is not an indication of anything as it doesn’t always work, even if you are accepted. Sometimes people get accepted packets and still can’t login to it for a few days.

well…i received my rejection letter…but im definitely going to try again next year…for all the rest of the SGRs still awaiting a decision, i wish you all the best! :)

SGR applicants. Anyone know if they need an official transcript in their hands by Wednesday? Or did they just need any form of our grades for the time being? (grade cards, unofficial ect.)

I’m still awaiting my SGR decision but my US Connect now has an “Enrollment Commitment Deposit” section. Is it safe to say I’m admitted?

@molamann
Pretty much a guarantee that you were admitted… congrats! Just out of curiosity, what’s your current status?

Thanks! I’ll post my stats in the 2010 USC Decisions thread asap once I get my official papers.

@molamann
of course! I would do anything for the box to appear on my page :frowning: still waiting for a decision! Sounds good but I meant in regards to your USConnect status… are you acted upon or still forwarded to the committee?

Ah, this was my status for months now, “We are unable to process the status of your application at this time. Please try again later, or Contact Us with any questions or concerns you might have”.

Good luck on your decision.

im pretty sure unofficial is okay but preferably official.

molamann: how long did it take from that unable status TO getting your acceptance?

Well I’ve had the “unable status” around the time my SGR got mailed out. I submitted by Spring grades last Thursday and I got the Commitment to Enroll Deposit status as of today.
