my application status says that “The committee has acted on your application, and we have mailed notice of the decision.” and when on went on USC connect there is no option under admission for a deposit. Does this mean I didn’t get in?

okay so my status changed today to we have made a decision and u should receive it in the mail shortly. im an sgr candidate. i logged into usc connect and it allowed me to submit my enrollment. i submitted the app and made the deposit. then it said congrats and welcome to the trojan family at the bottom. is it safe to say that i got in?

Been over a month since I dropped off my grades and still no status change. I never saw an update for my real application which just went to “Unable to authorize” or w/e and I checked it religiously. Maybe apps that aren’t accepted have this fate? Idk, but it sure seems like it. Depressing.

Honestly, should I email my admissions counselor, and ask him why my application is taking so long to process?

I have had my application in way before the initial deadline, and after I recieved an SGR, I turned that in relatively quickly as well. I believe I have waited a month after sending in my spring grades.

any thoughts ladies and gents? Frankly, i feel like if they’re going to reject me, do it already. I have plans of moving to make.

@beauselisk1990 - I’m in the same exact position. I’ve tried calling multiple times but they blow me off each time. I would think everyone would have their spring grades in by this point right?

I’ve waited a month also. First I emailed admissions, and got the standard “please give us more time” response. So i waited two weeks, called, “please give us more time”. E-mailed my admissions counselor on Friday… no response yet. I guess i’ll call again today, probably to hear them say “please give us more time.” If I get rejected because they “didn’t receive spring grades”, I’m going to be PlSSED!
