@Politricks - I believe now that this is actually more of a waitlist since they have obviously admitted some sgr’s already. They must want to admit the best of the sgr applicants :/

does the backdoor method confirm admission

my name and address are filled out when i login here
https://camel2.usc.edu/AdmCertification/Commit.aspx

@ohmyUSC - It isn’t 100% but it is pretty safe to assume you have been admitted if the deposit/confirmation form is pre-filled out with your info. Congrats!

To people who are saying its getting down to the best SGR prospects, that isn’t necessarily true.

I was nervous on how long I have waited, and looked up last years forum.

It seemed after July hit, most SGR’s were ADMITTED for SPRING.

So quite possibly, that could be what alot of us who are still waiting are looking at. I can speak for myself, when I say gaining admission is admission. Ill take Spring over rejection anyday.

@beauselisker1990 - That might be fine for you but as a marshall admit it isn’t since Marshall only does fall admissions, not spring :)

ouch! I had no idea! That is so lame…there shouldnt be double standards.

I’m going to be attending USC with the need to finish Category II, IV,V, VI, and three semesters of a foreign language… looks like I’ll be enjoying USC longer than most of you

:/

@zpaintballer are u transferring as sophomore or junior?

so it has been foreverrrr since I have been on here but want to say congrats to everyone who got accepted
and shot out to anyone going to the July 9th Orientation!

to those rejected, don’t give up there is always next year (cough cough 3rd year applicant here haha) but if you decide to go somewhere else or stay at where you are, don’t fret, you are still trojans to us and good luck to your future adventures

Fight On <3

@anyone…i was recently rejected for the upcoming year…my first choice major was Health Promotion and Disease Prevention and my sec. choice was Health and Humanity…I was planning on double majoring in Spanish had I been admitted to either one of those majors, but I did not mention that in my application…would it have been wise if I had chosen Spanish as my second choice major instead since I earned an A+ in Spanish 1,2, and 3?..do you think it would have increased my chances of getting admitted?

OMG i have a major dilemma.

but first of all. I got my official award letter for FA today! Which means I AM QUALIFIED FOR FA! A couple of weeks ago, I was having issues with the FA people because of my current status here in the US. Apparently, the DHS has cleared my citizenship status and I just found out today that I am eligible of getting aid after all!!!

YAY!

But. I already sent in my SIR to UCSD and already paid the housing deposit.

Now, I don’t know what to do. They gave me a pretty good package.

Which has a better Communications program? UCSD or USC Annenberg? Help!!! :(

Is it possible to declare Econ as your first choice and Marshall as your 2nd?

@arsenal what was your status?

my status changed to, “we have made a decision and it has been sent in the mail” yesterday. I checked through the back door method yesterday and I was able to submit a deposit and then the letter came today.

is it it too late to apply for on campus housing??? i prefer to live in tuscany but idk if its too late already

@zpaintballer

I’m getting in as a sophomore, but I need to make up every General Ed except for Writing and 2 semesters of foreign language. You think you’ll be here for a while.

Anyone here that can help me out? Pls? :(
