Does Gateway use a 12 month lease contract? 899 seems like an excellent price for the list of services and amenities provided by Gateway, but a 12 month contract won’t work for me.

They have “academic leases” which, according to the lease agreement I got, is for a ten month duration. I’m not positive on that, though, since I just did a twelve month lease.

@Serapher Yay I can access Oasis through myUSC! Woohoo! Thank you thank you!!!
I can’t wait until they have evaluated my official transcript. I only requested for my official transcripts from my CC just yesterday and I had it rushed. They’re sending it out today so hopefully it will get to USC by tomorrow! About how long does it take them to finish evaluating the transcript?

PS. I sure hope they have a ten month duration lease. I don’t think I’ll be needing it for an entire year. I’m going to call right now and see

It took them a week from my deposit for them to finish my transfer credit evaluation.

So I just called University Gateway and they do have an academic lease which is good for 10 months. Yay!

So my question then is… what is the difference between an academic 10 month lease and a 12 month lease besides the two months? Where do those 2 months go in an academic lease?

I would think summer… since you go to school in the fall and spring?

So, I’m out of state this week, and I was stressing about my decision coming and having to wait the week while I’m gone. My dad’s leaving for Germany tomorrow, but he called today and said I got my ACCEPTANCE PACKAGE in the mail today! :D

has any SGR transfers been admitted into the spring semseter?

i wouldn’t mind getting in for the spring.

buusey did.

Congrats, dchrysler.

Man, I’m jealous of all you guys making plans and stuff. haha. Congrats!!!

Dont worry bud, it’ll come soon. I’m sure your package isn’t at infinity and beyond, should be within reach :D.

yeah im jealous too. i don’t know how you guys could wait and be patient about this… 0_0

Congrats to everyone who has got in!!! I’m happy for yall. Wish I could be sharing the same enthusiasm with yall, however, for whatever reason…USC is still making me wait and dread.

I’ve been preparing myself for a rejection. As disappointing as it will be, we need to keep moving forward. I think I’ll be looking toward USD next year; as much as I’d hate to move back to San Diego, they’re the 3rd best institution in California for business and accounting.

Any of you guys that are still waiting for a decision feel as though you’ve lost interest in USC? Don’t get me wrong, I’d rather have hot coffee spilled on my crotch than to see that rejection letter.

not really. my alternative is Vanderbilt…

but i would rather stay at USC!!! PLEASE USC!!

How long after getting your acceptance packet does it take for the financial aid package to arrive?

@budlight: Im with RBK on that one…SC all the way, although I will say that for one of the most largest and prestigious privates, there admissions process could be a a bit more stocked(employee-wise) and a bit more efficient.

In no way does that turn me off. I’ll have a hard on for SC till I die! haha.

@rbk and beau - Yeah, I’m with you guys too. I love SC. I love everything about SC. I even love how a lot of other people hate SC. Hah, I don’t know if that made any sense. An acceptance will surely be a dream come true.

Everyone I know at my school: friends, faculty, staff, etc. are telling me that USC would be crazy not to accept me, and they’re just as excited as I am for a decision. It’s an amazing feeling to know you have that much support. I don’t know…I’m just rambling on now. But to me, the clock is ticking, and spaces are becoming more and more limited. I think they’re waiting to see who still hasn’t SIR’d to them yet to help make their decision.

how many marshall applicants left?
