@snowboard129 It also saves your entire application round 5-10$ from what I remember. I’ve also heard that it gives USC admissions a statistic as to how many prospective applicants are applying to what majors ahead of time. There really is no reason why you shouldn’t do it, as it is easy and requires no real effort.

USC’s current fitness center for students, Lyon Center, is a disgrace. Does anyone know when USC will be building a new fitness center for regular students? (Not student athletes)
I know they are just about done with constructing a new student center, but it does not have a weight room or anything associated to fitness.

thanks

How exactly is the Lyon Center a disgrace? Though it could be a bit bigger, I felt it was more than adequate for a school gym.

Anybody know if parking is free during move-in/welcome week?

Somebody told me that it was, but I haven’t found any information about it.

Parking is free on move-in day only I believe.

Only on the 18th?

Correct. I don’t think they allow free parking in the garages for the duration of move-in week. This is being discussed in a thread in the USC forum titled “welcome week”.

Hey everyone,

So I’m in a prety bad situation right now regarding where I’m staying at. Does anyone thing it would be hard commuting if I live 32 miles away from campus, I live around west hills or would it be better to get an apartment bc its pretty late to find anything at this point?

USC is #23!!! UCLA is 25

i f*king love this school now

How do you charge the season football tickets to usc epay bill?

@Foodmunkee I second that! Fight On!! =D

so i havent been on for a while but it makes me happy to see everyone else getting pumped for the year to start!

oh and i am rushing because I am a commuter and want to meet as many people as possible (haha and greek life is a super easy way to meet people)

@ballamalla1 i dont know if your question ever got answered but that means you have $7500 in loans under YOUR name. as it seems you didnt get any grant money and you want more loans you need to get a parent plus loan which will go under your PARENTS name (or whoever will cosign with you) hope that makes sense

so yeah if anyone wants to meet up during welcome week or when school starts, hit me up! or lets make a group meeting :)

I still totally think we should make a CC meeting during welcome week, too bad so many people have dropped out of the forum after getting in =/.

Lets do the CC meeting/meet up at the concert this Saturday?

It’ll be challenging to meetup at the concert cause it’ll be dark out and there will be a ton of people there. I’ve still been meeting everyone on a one by one basis though as I bump into them on campus or where ever.

Do you guys know how we can apply for the Town and Gown scholarship? I found the website but I can’t find the link for the actual application.

I’m so down for the CC meeting. I don’t know anybody here, so it would be nice to see some familiar faces.

Just finished settling down here in Gateway so I’m up for anything tomorrow! Today has been really tiring but I’m up for fun tomorrow onwards! Hoping to meet all of you! =)

If anyone is trying to set up a CC meetup or just Marshall, i think time would be good for most people. Also Kulakai, I think i ran into you today or at least signed a mailing list right after you at the marshall thing.
