<p>It’s technically an androgynous name, so I get people mistaking me for a guy sometimes and it doesn’t bother me. It will actually be a huge help in the future because sexism still exists in some of Hollywood and some producers won’t pick up a script they can tell was written by a woman.</p>

<p>Wow! So it looks like admission decisions are starting to roll in. Good luck to all! It seems like it was only yesterday when I was in your position. Don’t worry, like what Budlightyear said, the worth is certainly worth it </p>
<p>On another note, I was wondering if anyone interested in subletting my 5th floor apartment at the University Gateway Apartments? It’s from the 2nd week of May to end of July. It’s a good deal already at $899 because I wasn’t assigned a roommate so you’re basically paying for just a bed space and get a room of your own with your own bathroom! University Gateway’s current rate as of the moment is more or less $1000 for just a bed space a month so if you sublet mine, then you’re definitely in a good deal! If you want pics, I can most definitely send you some. University Gateway is one of the top housing places just directly across north side of campus. Message me here and let me know! </p>

<p>Hey guys I have been checking my application status and it says on usconnect that “we have received your application and it appears that there are no additional info…”. I called in just now and asked about my status of the application and the lady at the admission says it is currently being reviewed… but when I go back to check on usconnect, its still the same old status… which should I believe?</p>

<p>definitely believe the person you talked to!! The statuses aren’t reliable at all, really. If you look at threads from previous years you can see applicants talking about their statuses still saying things about being reviewed and what-not long after they’d actually gotten acceptance letters! </p>
<p>People put too much stock in the status updates. I know, I know, I can’t help but check it constantly myself, but really we shouldn’t rely on them at all.</p>
<p>@Deltron Oh I see. My status still says “we have receieved your application and it appears we need no more additional info…” Hopefully this is not an indication of anything. These statuses are so not helpful. They should either get on top of updating it or get rid of it.</p>
