<p>Does anyone know if theres a way that I can let USC know which classes I am taking this semester? I did not know at the time of applying since my spring semester began February 14th and I had to crash all my classes. But now I feel it would make me a stronger applicant since I am taking pretty hard classes now. I also want them to know that I am enrolled for this semester. Do our grades from this semester even matter much? Thanks!</p>

<p>im relieved you guys have the same status too, i was getting worried since the guy i spoke to said it was “weird” i have the freshman status. but he said everything is fine with my application and i’m down as a transfer student so i shouldn’t worry. just hope we get our decisions early!</p>
<p>@snowboard129 … yea, write them a letter explaining the situation and list the new information that you want considered with your application. sign it and either take it in person if you’re in socal, or mail it. make sure you do certified mail though; after my transcripts didn’t get there the first time, i’m a little skeptical about snail mail.</p>
<p>Woah, your classes didn’t start until February? My classes started Jan. 6…another huge reason I’m transferring. They make us come back to school during the coldest part of the year.</p>

<p>i asked an admission counselor and they said you have 3 chances to get in basically. first they consider you for your first choice and if they dont want you for that then they consider you for your second choice and if they dont want you for that then they consider you for undecided (if you’re applying to be a sophomore). I think if you get an SGR it has nothing to do with your majors unless it’s about pre reqs you need for marshall or something. like you can’t get an SGR for first choice and an acceptance for second choice. it’s only 1 decision and if it’s an sgr you won’t know what they’re considering you for I don’t think.</p>

<p>it’s a really competitive program because they take so few people but i mean i think only a few people apply as well. i just am hoping for the best 
i think if they can tell you’re really passionate about what you want to do then you have a really good chance of getting in… because it seems there have been people accepted to sppd with all different gpas i really just think they look for students who really know they want to make a difference and stuff</p>
<p>@Deltron, haha yea. I’m done with upstate New York. I don’t even understand why people want to stay here…it’s so terrible. The only good thing about winter is I get to play hockey and basketball, which I would think that I can do that anyway at a warm place.</p>

<p>My classes started in February because we have a 6 week winter intersession at my cc. I didn’t need to take any winter classes this year so my winter break was basically from December till February 14th. It was awesome!</p>

<p>Okay…So they just changed my status on Tuesday that I don’t need to submit anything else. Now they are saying I need to submit my college transcript??? I already did…it’s even posted as received. Anyone have this problem? Im calling them on Monday and seeing whats up.</p>

<p>@AF1990 yeah same thing happened to me. maybe it is because fall grades were not included in the transcript that i have sent. i hadn’t completed fall courses the time that i applied. so, now, i sent another transcript with fall grades in it.</p>
