<p>How do you determine USC transferrable units? </p>

<p>If you’re at a semester-based CCC or a CSU, you typically take four or five 3-unit courses. At USC, I believe many of their courses are 4 units each. If you take four courses, that would be 16 units.</p>
<p>You transfer in a maximum of 64 units, and at 65 units you’re technically a junior. If you take one or two courses this summer, you may take 16-18 units at USC per semester and finish your degree (which requires a minimum 128 units).</p>

<p>hey guys i have a winter grade question.</p>
<p>my winter semester was over on feb. 20th or so and as you guys obviously know the deadline for transfers was feb. 1st, which is when i sent my app in. i went in through the app place at uscconnect and faxed in my hs transcripts and all my college transcripts through fall 2010. but no where did i find a message where it said it required my winter grades. also, my app status shows that im missing nothing and that they are reviewing. So should I send it in? Because they havent asked for it and they are saying they have everything.</p>

<p>@prok2010 I don’t think anyone has yet and probably won’t until mid or late next month and early june.</p>
<p>@rahuldang you should send in you winter grade asap regardless if they ask for them or not, it can only help you (as long as you didn’t completely bomb winter quarter). Plus if you get in they’ll need to see them anyway.</p>

<p>Just going to take a stab and guess that this weekend some people will be receiving acceptance letters 
since last time they sent out the letters the 7th (Thursday), and they were received on the 9th/10th. Viterbi majors, prepare.</p>

<p>Hey, have any other Annenberg/Communication applicants had a status change other then “nana316”? Because mine just changed finally as well to:

<p>My second choice is communication and My status changed about 2 weeks ago… But my first choice is film production … Good luck !!!</p>
<p>I would only submit it if:</p>
<p>You got an “A”, thus bringing your g.p.a up
The class you completed was a Major requirement and maybe a USC GE</p>
<p>Otherwise, it does not really help you at this point in anyway.</p>
<p>Regardless, they will see your final transcripts at the end.</p>
<p>Just upload it like your transcripts.There is not anything specific for winter.</p>

<p>SC is such a big school I doubt that your age will negatively affect you.</p>

<p>scouevas - there are a lot of non-traditional students at SC, me included. I was 30 when i applied last year; I’m a veteran as well. I know many other students in their mid-late 20’s and early 30’s. It just feels really weird being around a bunch of 19/20 year olds cause there really isn’t much we share in common.</p>
<p>Age is just a number. It is great to feel timeless.
I don’t know why, but I have a strong, very strong feeling that I will be attending USC next year.
Waiting for my spring grade request to come! Will have a 3.75 gpa by the end of this year.
My status changed a few weeks ago that I will be getting the decision or request for spring grades by June 1. Being a prospective sophomore transfer, I think that I will get the spring grade request.</p>
