bluecrewchris- I’m in the same situation as you. I changed it to USC earlier today but I had the notice that said they hadn’t received my gpa verification yet, so tomorrow morning I’m calling my old college and asking them to submit that.

ok, I will call the office of housing tomorrow.

Umm, i was wondering if anyone was having problems with myUSC.

I am able to log into my email account but not into myUSC. it repeatedly stated that the “authentication failed”. In addition, how long did it take many of you to get housing? i was just curious.

Thanks!

I had the same problem with myUSC. you generally have to wait a week after you submit your intent to enroll…

wow reading some people’s post I feel bad about getting in

Sorry but i have another question, when were you guys able to register for classes? Also, how did you guys know what classes are available and which ones you needed for your focus/majour? Or am i just totally freaking out right now and they tell you all this for orientation?

You register at orientation. Don’t worry about class availability, a ton of slots will open up during orientation. Don’t worry about picking the right classes, they have a lot of advisers there to make sure you dont screw up you’re schedule and they’ll give you suggestions.

Take a step back, breathe, relax, enjoy your orientation =P

KKZ! thanks Solomonm! now i just need to wait for my login for myUSC and reserve my spot at orientation… dT-Tb

Is it me or does this whole process seem so messed up?

After all those issues submitting my deposit…I finally speak to the cashier as she puts my information in. I went to the bookstore to get some stuff Friday and went to speak with Admissions…they said that info should be coming soon in e-mails…and NOTHING!

I feel like you get in and then have to try and figure out for yourself what is next. Am I missing something here?

I already registered by myself for e-mail/orientation. I haven’t received a single e-mail alerting me to anything tho…

whats goin on?!

P.S. 25th orientation people should meet up!

MG2011- Sucks for you bc you’re the one of the few people who have had problems. You’ll get an email closer to the actual orientation date reminding you to finish the homework etc., so don’t freak out.

Still unable to commit online haha, I’m driving down tomorrow to submit it by hand

so anybody who is sitll waiting for a decision from housing, i just called them and they said i have 15 people infront of me to be placed for housing (i applied on july 1st). the lady said that they are seeing if the people they assigned housing will finalize their housing and if not they will give it to the others waiting on the list. so looks like it’s all filled up now and they are just waiting for people to decline their housing assignments to assign others who applied. : /

So I just called the financial aid office and asked about getting my cal grant since it didn’t show up, and they said it basically replaces money from the university grant I’m receiving and doesn’t help at all with loans. Has anyone else heard the same?

Tones- That sucks. I haven’t called to ask but that’s a very strange policy.

Arg. Anyway you guys could give me a timeline of what has happened contact wise since the deposit was submitted…so that I know what I am missing and need to do?

Thanks!

Hi Everyone. I remember seeing a list of the steps you have to take once your admitted. Could somebody repost it or direct me to where its located? thanks

Thats the same policy for most schools. Outside scholarships and grants will just be deducted from the university grant

Does anyone know if there is housing available for transfers in either Troy East or Troy Hall?

when do we find out about the transfer merit scholarship?

Geh…so i’m gonna be assuming that all housing are filled up…anyone else still waiting for the letter to RSVP July 25?
