<p>They extended registration for the July 25th orientation to July 23rd.</p>

<p>I got in at the same time as you, so we technically cant even sign up for orientation untill the 25th, then we have to take the placement tests 72 hours before orientation, so technically, we couldnt go to orientation until the 28th or 29th.</p>
<p>anyone that’s looking for a roommate/housing feel free to msg me/email me. im looking at conquest housing and ill probably want to share a room with someone rather than having a room to myself (it’s cheaper that way :D). as of where exactly in conquest im not sure.</p>

<p>i got assigned housing but im giving it up cause i found a place in tropicana and i’d rather live there, so there’s an open spot for a girl!</p>
<p>conquest is a great company to work with. I ended up in the Palisades and it’s been real easy working everything out and what not with them. Nice places as well. I definitely reccomend them</p>
<p>hey for those of you who can’t sign up for orientation…do you think they could rush the process of recieving our deposits and giving us email addresses and accomodate us for orientation anyways…I really think its ridiculous that we can’t go just because of their policies…we should be given the same treatment as all the other students and not punished for recieving our admissions so late…ITS NOT FAIR!</p>
<p>I drove 2 hours up to SC today, and went to the orientation dept… They said they are speeding things up so that we can get in. He looked up my name and said that I was ready to go, and could log in and sign up for orientation. I just got home, and I am not able to log in…Im ****ed.</p>

<p>Fyi, I called today b.c I’m starting to get mad that they tell me “oh your good, wait one more day” only to find me having to call the next day to find out I need to do something else. So I told them I’m working a full time internship and I’m going to be really busy the next 2-3 days trying to make up for missing a day of work and won’t be able to call and learn what the new laundry list of crap they want me to do. So after the ‘nice’ guy name Surge gave me attitude for calling more than once in one day, and telling me to suck it up, and that I’ll just have to make time to call sometime this week that the session is not going to fill. We can register up to 5 on wednesday and that they also have reg on that morning in person. So if you’ve recently submitted I’d call wednesay/thursday night to see if your deposit has gone thru. Plus if you’re local, just show up, lol. My neighbors son went to George Washington and he wanted to go to an orientation and was late for sign-up, so he just showed up with all his acceptance stuff. What are they going to do? Say ‘sorry, go away’?</p>
<p>Am I required to pre-order my USCard? I don’t want to go through the hassle of taking a picture at home.</p>

<p>Calm down kids! Don’t worry you are all admitted. Rest is just administration crap. Relax and enjoy the last month before school starts. I think you (and I) have suffered enough. Now you gotta get ready for the next two or more (if you want to do Masters or PhD) years.</p>
<p>There are like half a dozen events the week before classes start you will get oriented. :)</p>

<p>I just have a 3 questions about the orientation. i was just wondering what you guys brought. What financial documents are considered appropriate. Also, what did you guys just bring the entire acceptance letter package for “Letter of admission and all other pertinent correspondence from USC”?. and for “prior college course work documentation”, is my college transcripts a-okay? sorry about the bother, but much thanks!</p>
<p>I only came with the print out from pre-orientation hw, but I noticed they already had a sheet that said whether or not you completed it online. So I didn’t have to show that. As for finaid docs, I didn’t bring any…nor did I get to talk to anyone about finaid (unless you go to the booth which had a line)</p>
<p>I ended up wanting to petition for one of my classes to fit category V and needed a syllabus, but I found that online from my old professor. If you have a class you know you want to petition you will need to bring the syllabus. </p>
<p>Otherwise they give you a fatty catalog and a big packet of papers so bring I’d bring a bag because I got sick of lugging it around all day!</p>
