Good luck everyone! I checked into CC tonight because last year at this time my D was in your shoes; anxiously awaiting for her college acceptances (hopefully acceptances) and we both became addicted to CC. I had also heard the rumors about the stats being released from SC along with the decisions being sent this afternoon. My D is a freshman at USC, however, USC was not her dream school. It has become her dream school since attending and she is very happy! The point is, she was crushed when she didn’t get into her dream school and only begrudgingly went to admitted students day at SC. She came away from that day very happy and excited and she sincerely believes it all worked out for the best. So my hope and message to all of you is that it will all work out for the best, if not SC, at a school that can become your dream school if you let it. BTW, she had above the average GPA but below average test scores, so you can get in even if you don’t fit the stats to a tee. God Bless to you all, get some sleep and may you all receive the news you want.
Correction: On the Marshall facebook page the admitted number was 8920, not 8900.
Acceptance packages were mailed out on the 23rd and came on the 25th for the SoCal students last year!
That really doesn’t sound right @filmmaker101 If they’re sending something priority mail it’s not going to take 2 days to get sent anywhere from an hour to several hours away.

7720 will be accepted in the mailing (8920-1200=7720)
45,180 will be rejected
From this mailing:
14.59% will be accepted

I wish you all the very best. The vast majority of us will get bad news in the mail, but don’t you let that discourage you from dreaming big dreams and fulfilling your big dreams. As an SCA hopeful, I knew the odds were stacked against me, but I still applied, and I still believe I belong even knowing that only 3% get accepted to my major. yeah thats what i thought too but idk. my friends (music, film, engineering, and business) got their packages all got theirs on the 25th @bananafofanna
They went out on the 24th (a Tuesday) last year and most in Socal got theirs on the 25th.

@vimyle :((( American Samoa is an U.S. Territory, and the post mentioned Guam and USVI so I would reckon that I didn’t get in bc Am Sam would’ve been on the list instead of being generalized as 73 other countries since it’s really not independent…Good luck to you!!
@mdorbust Stanford Admission’s twitter account confirmed that decisions are coming out on March 25th which is this Friday, but not exactly when during that day.
