@balimarpy intls get packets too, it’s just that they take long so you will probably find out on portal before the packages arrive
Well… they go through DHL (3-4 days max- unless the weekend falls in between) and someone said that previous years they would dispatch them a day earlier than domestic applicants!
Did anyone applying for SDA receive the open house invite (not the January save the date) or did they not send them this year. For several years in a row, if you received it, it was likely you were in. No one has posted that they have received it, so if you have, please let SDA hopefuls know. Thanks

I searched #IGotIntoUSC on Twitter and it looks like the gold packages are just wrapped boxes going to international students, not spring admits.
Trying to sleep last night was the hardest thing I had to do. I’m so nervous!!

I kind of wish i never read this thread because now I’m going to have an anxious attack if I don’t get a package and I only live 1 hour away

Signed up for USPS and got email with a picture of every piece of mail scheduled to be delivered to my house today. Nothing from USC. I’m on the east coast and decided I’m not going to open any more emails from them. Just gonna wait and see what arrives in the mail. I now know that we will be receiving a ton of bills today.
@Frazzy how do you get an email with pictures of all your incoming mail? Is that a special service on the east coast or something? I have a myUSPS account, but all I know how to do is to look for tracked packages that are on their way to me.

Does anyone think college admissions this year is kind of completely random??? I got waitlisted at SMU, which was actually a safety, like my numbers were above their 75th percentile, and I have great EC’s, recs, essays, am URM, and first generation… but I’ve gotten into more reach schools… I have also heard that a lot of other people aren’t getting into their matches! This is all stressing me out ahhh!
@pterosprite just watched the same twitter you did confusing to see all the same color when someone posted that there would be different colors for spring admits this year…
There was something to click to upgrade service (no charge) then it asked to update account. I clicked on notifications or something and said would email all delivery info. But I can’t bear to check again. If I check on Friday and only see MasterCard and Visa bills I will freak out.
