*******USC Class of 2020 Results/Discussion Thread**********

Ugh so far away lol!!!

@socal1997 - With your positive attitude, you will achieve great things. Thank you for this great post. Remember that it is not the college that makes you, you make your own success and it looks like you are on your way! Good luck to you in your college experience. My son was not accepted to any of his first choice schools two years ago. He ended up at our flagship state school and is doing GREAT. He and a group of 4 others have a reputation of being the “genius kids” in the CS dept. So sometimes being the big fish in the pond brings about great things.

would it be possible for me to drive to a usps and pick up my mail there or would I have to wait until it gets delivered to my house

Everytime I feel slightly less worried when someone makes a point or post about someone being a fall admit and still having the message in the old section, two more people post the opposite and multiple examples :frowning:

@Mayzie Thank you so much for the kind words! Life is great and full of opportunities. I am so blessed to have had the opportunity to apply to so many great schools and I certainly have great options to choose from as so many here have as well. I can’t believe that high school is almost over. I want to make the most of the time left with my friends.

I know this doesn’t cahnge anything, but if I get my mail at around 9:00/9:30am, and live about 1 hour away from USC and didn’t receive anything, could it just mean it wasn’t delivered yet? LOL I’m trying not to care or think about it but it is very hard…Any other SDA Applicants out there?

im with you @socal1997 ! congrats to all admitted students! for everyone else, no matter where we go, whether it’s our #1 choice or our #10 choice, we’ll find a way to have lots of fun and do lots of cool things! thanks for everyone being so helpful on this thread! see ya guys

I found one person named “lanawinters” from 2 yrs ago whose message had moved to the “Message History” and she got accepted.

(She says “mine is the same as yours,” – and you need to click to the previous page to see the person’s description she’s referring to)

I’m sure there are other examples but I figured one should be convincing enough.

Anyone on the East Coast get their package yet? I’m in Connecticut and trying to figure out if I should expect mail or portal to be my informant…

@socal1997 Are you saying that if our “information about the scholarship process” is in message history and not in current message, it correlates to a rejection?

@gxssipgirl read message #3067. :wink:

Under financial aid for Academic Year 2016-17 and under Document Library, does everyone else have access to a bunch of online forms like Enrollment and Housing form and other loan forms, etc?

I got into Berkeley today, and UCLA last week. But judging the analysis on this thread, I got rejected from USC because my scholarship message (no scholarships) is now under message history. I really wanted to get into USC. Aside from it being a great school, I could have gotten 1/2 scholarship bc of NMF. Fortunately, Oklahoma is still letting me apply, and I can get a full ride from them apparently for NMF.

@choirsandstages Can you find anything from class of 2019?

If the scholarship letter was moved from current to Message History, does that indicate acceptance??

@Californian10 we don’t know yet. But judging the responses from people this year, (I think) the answer would be no, unfortunately.

Did anyone from Orange County get accepted yet?

@gxssipgirl Yeah those show up for me too

@heatingdhs I do remember seeing one acceptance package being received in OC.
