I got a personal email from my regional AO >:)
It is really good sign. Good luck!
Some times , unofficial transcript is acceptable if they likely want to accept you. Finally, they will get official transcript.
Well, wouldn’t it be nice if it was a positive thing?
Hahaha.
Idk, I got a B in AP Stats along with probably 80% of the other kids in that class. I don’t think that will be the deciding factor though
I don’t think so if they will reject with one B. This is 100% my opinion; If admission will likely accept students , they may need a transcript in my experience. So don’t worry too much.
Oops post, sorry.
Decisions coming out 3/22. Just posted on their Instagram.
LOL at “reminder”
Gonna make a chugging game out of this answer… decisions usually come out at 3 or 4pm PST. 3pm seems to be the fav.
Later than 3:02 and my guess is it’s been a technical issue.
Does it tend to crash as UT Austin’s portal does?
One B will not get you rejected.
It has been solid last 3-4 years. Things come out quickly. Portal is updated before the e-mail is sent it seems. Prior to that, omg, they would roll out over several hours from east to west. And rejections went out hours after acceptances. Agony. Seriously. It was a slow burn and people lost their minds. The white box time was an era all its own. They mailed the boxes and updated the portal 3 days after mailing. A lot of nervous people stalking the mailman. Lots of changes over the years!
Of course.
Personally, I prefer the “white box” time. It was much less stressful.
I loved the white box era, we still have ours!
Yep! Us, too! Life was so much easier when people weren’t constantly stalking their portals and weren’t aware of who else was or was not getting into a certain college at the exact same time. You’re minding your own business and, sometimes, good news comes in the mail. So simple! (Though I do admit to stalking the mailman for the white box when kiddo #2 was in the process.)
I still have the red box my daughter received. Her stats were not as high as others but she had amazing leadership. I just had a feeling she was going to get one so I stalked the mailman. I was so excited that I brought the box to her school and called her out of class. She thought the dog died.
