Ah okay. Probably nothing more than a rumor then. My brother got in for fall last year but his stats are stronger than mine. USC is by far my #1 choice so I really hope I get in for anything.

It’s out

If you have this, it is Trojan Transfer Plan invite…

STUDENT xxxx, while we are not able to offer you admission this year, our admission committee saw a lot of potential in your application. This decision was especially difficult for us given your ties to the Trojan Family. If you decide that you still wish to explore a path to USC, consider applying for admission as a transfer student. Students may apply to transfer to USC after one year of strong academic work elsewhere. To learn how to plan your course schedule to be a competitive transfer applicant, please attend a Trojan Transfer Information Session in June. Reservations will be made available in your USC applicant portal in early May. Our transfer process is highly competitive, and while there are no guarantees of admission, I hope you will explore this option.

The bold sentence isn’t in all of them, just legacy.

Good luck @LURiley - this process can be tougher for the younger sibs…oh the expectations…

So, it guarantees a transfer? Or do you apply for one?

Considering he said that he had a SAT 1510 GPA 3.9/4.5 in the UT Austin thread, I’m not sure we can trust this person.

Every year, the discussion of ending legacy admissions resurfaces. At institutions like USC, alumni hold significant sway in shaping the school’s identity - ending this policy would change the school. I firmly believe that any determined individual can transfer into USC by adhering to guidelines and clearly expressing their intentions in the application process. USC seeks students who are truly interested in joining their community.

don’t look at SAT’s or gpa’s people post, they are usually bogus.
