Does everybody get the email asking if there’s a status update?
NMSC notified students who received the $2500 scholarship yesterday.
D24 Admitted to Roski for BFA.
If you are NMSF you are automatically presidential. AM guessing not if semi finalist right?
Do we know how many Barch seats they have?
congratulations! which major?
Accepted for Engineering!
3.84UW, 35 ACT, URM (counselor said this was probably the biggest factor)
No merit though
The $2500 doesn’t have anything to do with USC. National Merit choses about 3000 finalists to get the scholarship from National Merit. If your child is a finalist, they were considered for the $2500.
If you get the $2500 from National Merit AND get accepted to USC, you don’t get the $4000 from USC, but you still get the Presidential Scholarship.
I believe the $2500 from National Merit came out today.
So some of NMSC get that scholarship?
Congratulations! She’s has a lot of great choices. When the time comes, please share where she decides to enroll.
D24 rejected, applied Marshell
From Texas
She’s got other great options so moving on.
Congrats to those that got in! USC is amazing!
did her letter have a paragraph talking about the transfer information session?
DS24 ACCEPTED
Thorton / Music Production
SF CA
I’m crying - so proud of him.
Does the email tell you what the admissions decision was? We are temporarily locked out of our portal.
Will do. She’s super humbled by the opportunity at some excellent schools. We’ll keep you posted.
You need to be a NMF (not NMSF) in order to receive the Presidential. If you are admitted to USC and you declare USC as your first choice with NMSC before May 31, you are guaranteed a half-tuition Presidential Scholarship.
My son had a proposal for transfer…doesn’t everyone gets it? he applied to Marshall and is rejected
We cried last year when my daughter got in too. It was the only acceptance we cried over! We’re also in SF. Let me know if you have any questions!
I am not sure because they offer a transfer plan too and the letter was not specific?
unsure. how do i find out. nothing in the letter
