My true aspiration is to become an on screen actress in California. I know it is not required to have a degree to do so. But I would like to have a proper education. I’m not sure if USC is the best place for me to fulfill this dream. Does anyone have an idea of what would be best to minor and major in at USC? They don’t have a BA or B.F.A. program for on screen acting. I need recommendations on the best schools for on screen acting in California also.

USC is $60K a year. Most people in the screen actors’ guild don’t make half of that. Check their web site for more informaition. You will probably be required to have a very high gpa and SAT score to even be considered for acceptance to the university.

There are some Cal States that have film programs and these would be less expensive if you are a state resident.
